Background: the 2026 edition

Leyendas del Rock 2026 will celebrate its 20th anniversary from 5 to 8 August 2026 in Villena. The edition is set to be a milestone: four days of heavy metal, hard rock, power metal, extreme metal and classics of the genre at one of the most recognisable festivals on the Spanish rock circuit.

The festival remains based around the Polideportivo Municipal de Villena, a location now firmly associated with the Leyendas brand. For an anniversary edition, the line-up features major international names and a cross-generational take on metal: legendary bands, cult acts and current artists that appeal to different audiences.

The official preview places the 2026 edition among the festival's most ambitious. Highlights among the announced bands include:

The mix of classics and contemporary names strengthens Leyendas' position as a meeting point for several generations of metal fans. It is not an edition aimed only at the nostalgic: it also looks to those who have come to metal through more recent scenes.

The line-up, set times and conditions mentioned in this section refer exclusively to 2026.
