Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest

Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest adds Rod Stewart to its 2027 edition. The singer will perform on 6 July at the Plaza de España, as part of a series that already has five nights announced. The series combines individual tickets with the Abono Icónico, a pass covering all of its concerts. Availability for each product can be checked on its own sales page.

This list covers the announced performances, not the full calendar for the edition. The festival publishes tickets and conditions for each concert; any single date should not automatically be taken as the closing day of the whole programme.

Rod Stewart at the Plaza de España

The official Rod Stewart page confirms Tuesday 6 July 2027. The announcement brings an international career to the series preview, but has not yet given door times, prices or seating areas.

The songs mentioned in the artist's introduction serve as a reference to his career. They are not a fixed setlist for Sevilla. The performance is a standalone night and its ticket will not give access to other Icónica events.

Tickets per concert and Abono Icónico

The 2027 Abono Icónico includes all concerts, general admission floor and Fast Pass. It is issued in the holder's name, is personal and non-transferable, and ID is required. The organisers state that this option is not accessible for people with reduced mobility for logistical reasons; alternatives should be checked for each concert.

The official programme links to the available ticket sales and distinguishes sold-out dates from those whose sales have not yet opened. For Rod Stewart, check availability on his own page: stock is not guaranteed and no prices are given without checking the chosen product.

Before buying any date, check the artist, day, ticket type and entry conditions. Prices, door times and reduced-mobility arrangements may differ from one night to another. The El Barrio notice does not mean the whole series has sold out either.

A series at the Plaza de España in Sevilla

Icónica uses the Plaza de España, next to the Parque de María Luisa, as the venue for standalone concerts. There is no need to choose between simultaneous stages as at a large festival: the practical decision is usually which night to attend and which ticket to buy for that performance.

To locate the venue, you can check the Plaza de España on Google Maps. When planning your journey home, wait for the schedule of your chosen concert; the finishing time of another show should not be assumed for Rod Stewart's.

Context from the previous edition

Icónica 2026 ended on 18 July. Its previous programme included artists such as Aitana, Robbie Williams, Lenny Kravitz and Sting, whom the website keeps under its past concerts section. This is a precedent for the type of series, not an announcement that those names will return in 2027.

The individual dates announced are for 2027; the overall calendar is still incomplete. The 2026 concerts are kept for context only and are not part of the new line-up.
