Carlos Santana joins the line-up of Icónica Occident Sevilla Fest 2027. The Mexican guitarist will perform on Sunday 4 July at the Plaza de España, in what the festival announces as his ‘only concert in Andalusia’ and his first time in Sevilla in a career spanning more than five decades. Tickets go on sale on Monday 9 November.
Santana in Sevilla: date and venue
The concert will take place on Sunday 4 July 2027 at the Plaza de España, Icónica's usual venue. The organisers have not yet published the schedule or said whether there will be support acts.
Santana is one of the guitarists who has done most to shape the crossover between rock, blues, jazz and Afro-Latin rhythms, from ‘Oye cómo va’ and ‘Black Magic Woman’ to ‘Smooth’ and ‘Maria Maria’. The festival highlights his ten Grammy Awards and three Latin Grammys, nine of them won in a single night for the album ‘Supernatural’. In August 2025 he performed at the Tío Pepe Festival de Jerez, so this will not be his first concert in Andalusia, but it will be his first in Sevilla, according to the organisers.
Tickets for Santana at Icónica: when they go on sale
The concert page on the Icónica website announces the sale for Monday 9 November at 10:00. Prices and areas are not yet listed. For reference, the other international nights in the series with published prices range from €70 for the standing area to €110 for front stage in the case of Rod Stewart, plus fees.
The concert is not included in any pass currently on sale: the Abono Icónico, which gave access to the whole series, is sold out.

With Santana, the series now has ten nights announced:

- Saturday 26 June: SFDK.
- Sunday 4 July: Carlos Santana.
- Tuesday 6 July: Rod Stewart.
- Wednesday 7 July: Noah Kahan.
- Sunday 11 July: Camilo.
Santana thus opens the most international week of the series, with three big names in four days. The organisers say they will continue announcing concerts in the coming months.
