In short
- El Muelle Live wraps up its 2026 programme this weekend: Ruslana plays on Friday 6 at 20:30 and Así Canta Jerez en Navidad rounds things off on Saturday 7 at 18:00.
- The venue at the port of Alicante is becoming part of The Ocean Race, which sets off from the city on 17 January 2027, and will be transformed into the race's Ocean Live Park.
- The return already has a first date: Alejandro Astola, on 4 September 2027, with his show “Mi guitarra y yo 2.0” and tickets already on sale.
- Since it opened in July 2025, the venue has drawn close to 100,000 attendees across more than 50 music, food and cultural events, according to the organisers themselves.
El Muelle Live, the concert venue on Muelle 12 at the port of Alicante, is bidding farewell to its 2026 music programme this weekend. Afterwards, its facilities will become part of the set-up for The Ocean Race, the round-the-world sailing race that once again starts from Alicante in January, and music will not return until 2027. The organisers made the announcement in a press release sent out on Wednesday.
The last two concerts of 2026: Ruslana and Así Canta Jerez en Navidad
- Friday 6 November, 20:30: Ruslana, with her 2026 tour, following the success of “Catarsis”.
- Saturday 7 November, 18:00: Así Canta Jerez en Navidad, the show of zambombas, flamenco and Christmas carols celebrating its 15th anniversary under the musical direction of Luis de Perikín.
The organisers are presenting the Jerez show as the close of the season: a family-friendly show with a large cast of artists from Jerez on stage, bringing Christmas forward by almost two months. Tickets for both concerts are sold on the El Muelle Live website, which does not show prices without starting the purchase process, and under-18s need the authorisation form published by the venue itself.

Why it is pausing: the venue becomes the Ocean Live Park
The break is temporary. The port space will be transformed to host the Ocean Live Park, the public area of The Ocean Race 2027. The race will set off from Alicante on 17 January 2027, according to the City Council, for the sixth consecutive time. What the press release does not specify is how long the transformation will last or what programme the Ocean Live Park will have during those days.
The return: Alejandro Astola, on 4 September 2027
The first date announced for next season is Alejandro Astola, on Saturday 4 September 2027 at 21:30, with “Mi guitarra y yo 2.0”. The Seville-born artist, founder of Fondo Flamenco and later a member of Astola y Ratón, presents his solo career in a guitar-and-vocals format that mixes well-known songs with unreleased tracks. Tickets are already on sale. Before that, Astola performs on 25 June at Icónica Sevilla Fest.
El Muelle Live's track record
The venue opened in July 2025 and, according to the organisers, has brought together close to 100,000 attendees in that time across more than 50 events of music, food and culture, as well as sporting fixtures and private events.
For next summer, line-ups are already taking shape in the province, such as those of Spring Festival Alicante and Rocanrola; for the rest, see the list of festivals in the Valencian Community.
