About the festival
Terramar CaixaBank Sitges 2026 has already taken place. Here you can find the dates, line-up and practical information for that edition.
Terramar CaixaBank Sitges 2026 will once again be held between 31 July and 12 August at the Jardins de Terramar, consolidating its place as one of the most recognisable music series of the Catalan summer. Far from the mega-festival format squeezed into a single weekend, the Sitges event once again opts for several nights spread across the calendar, with a carefully kept setting and a programme that combines artists from across Spain, international names and high-profile shows.
The 2026 edition already features a full programme of 12 concerts, enough to place the series among the summer highlights in Catalonia. The announced line-up brought together Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Sergio Dalma, Joan Dausà, Quim Masferrer, Earth, Wind & Fire Experience by Al McKay, Ara Malikian, Rosana, Els Amics de les Arts + Ginestà, This Is Michael, Rosario, Sopa de Cabra and God Save The Queen. That range explains the event's personality rather well: a broad audience, distinct nights and a very close relationship with summer cultural tourism in Sitges.
Confirmed dates for Terramar CaixaBank Sitges 2026
The series took place from 31 July to 12 August 2026 at the Jardins de Terramar. Spanning two months and several consecutive nights, Terramar occupies a rather unusual place in the calendar: closer to a major urban summer series than to a traditional festival with a full pass.
To place it on the summer map, it may be useful to check out the festivals in Catalonia and the August festival calendar. There you can see quite clearly how Sitges maintains an offering with its own distinctive profile, strongly supported by its setting and by the ability of each night to work as a plan in its own right.

The selection combines highly recognisable repertoires, a strong presence of Catalan and Spanish artists, and several concerts designed for a broad audience spanning pop, singer-songwriter music, classic rock and large-scale spectacle. That diversity is one of the keys to the series, as it allows it to keep its identity without limiting itself to a single type of audience.
A summer series closely tied to Sitges
The setting of the Jardins de Terramar is an essential part of the experience. Here the venue does not simply serve as a container but as a selling point of the event itself: greenery, proximity to the coast and a scale that gives each night a special sense of occasion, closer to a summer cultural experience than to a free-for-all festival.
Sitges also brings an obvious contextual advantage: accommodation, restaurants, a seafront promenade and a well-established tourism brand. All of this helps Terramar come across as a concert, a getaway and a city break all at once, which goes a long way towards explaining its continuity and its standing within the Catalan summer.
