About the festival

Festival Internacional de Música de Cambrils 2026 will hold its 51st edition from 28 July to 10 August with a wide-ranging programme spread across several venues in the town, in the province of Tarragona, and designed for very different audiences. The series combines international rock, pop, jazz, gospel, classical, blues, singer-songwriter music, Catalan music and roots acts, keeping the profile of a major summer cultural event that has made it a benchmark on the Costa Daurada.

The 2026 edition has several big draws. Jethro Tull will perform at Parc del Pinaret with their Curiosity Tour 1968-2026; Dire Straits Legacy will revisit the repertoire of one of rock's most influential bands; Ana Torroja will close the programme with Se ha acabado el show; and the line-up also includes Siloé, Valeria Castro, Joan Dausà, Lucrecia, La Ludwig Band, Quartet Gerhard and other acts that broaden the festival's musical map.

Jethro Tull, the big rock date in August

Jethro Tull will perform at Festival Internacional de Música de Cambrils 2026
Jethro Tull will perform on 4 August at Parc del Pinaret as part of Festival Internacional de Música de Cambrils 2026.

The presence of Jethro Tull puts FIMC 2026 into an international conversation. Ian Anderson and the British band arrive with a tour spanning several decades of history, taking in progressive rock, electric folk and a very recognisable approach to live performance. For audiences from outside Cambrils, this may be one of the dates in the programme with the greatest pull for tourists.

Dire Straits Legacy and Ana Torroja boost the final stretch

Parc del Pinaret will host the nights with the broadest popular appeal. After Jethro Tull, the venue will welcome Siloé, Valeria Castro, Dire Straits Legacy, Coldday, Joan Dausà and Ana Torroja, stringing together a week of concerts that will be very familiar to different audiences.

Dire Straits Legacy will perform on 7 August at Parc del Pinaret.

Dire Straits Legacy is one of the clearest draws for classic rock fans. The project brings together musicians linked to the Dire Straits legacy and offers a night of familiar songs, clean guitars and shared popular memory. Three days later, Ana Torroja will close the festival with a pop show that links her time in Mecano with her solo career.

Festival venues

Festival Internacional de Música de Cambrils 2026 is not concentrated on a single stage. Its decentralised model spreads the programme across very different venues, something worth bearing in mind when planning each day.

Tickets

Tickets for Festival Internacional de Música de Cambrils 2026 are handled through the festival's official programme. The opening show with Ladyva & Barcelona Blues Big Band is listed as a free concert, while tickets for the remaining dates are sold individually per concert. As the venues have different capacities, it is advisable to check each date separately before planning your trip.

Village FIMC

The Village FIMC 2026 will be located in Parc del Pinaret and will be open from 20:00 to 02:00. The space lets you enjoy the festival beyond the concert itself, with food trucks, a bar, wines and cavas, seating areas and performances by emerging artists. For those attending the Pinaret nights, arriving early can be a good way to have dinner there and avoid rushing before the show.

Getting there

Cambrils is located on the Costa Daurada, with good road links to Tarragona, Reus and Salou. For those travelling from further afield, the most important thing is to check each venue before setting off, as not all concerts take place in the same spot. Parc del Pinaret hosts the main block of August dates, but the festival also uses the port, Parc del Pescador, the Club Nàutic and Parc Samà.

Tips for festival-goers

As this is a summer festival in a coastal area, it is advisable to book accommodation in advance, especially for the August dates. Cambrils lets you combine concerts, the beach, food and family holidays, but that same demand can put pressure on hotels and apartments in high season. Those planning to attend several concerts may want to consider staying in Cambrils or in nearby towns such as Salou, Vila-seca or Tarragona, bearing in mind return travel times.

It is also worth checking the entry rules for minors: under-16s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and present the relevant authorisation. On the busiest nights, the advice is to arrive early, check the venue's entrance gate and make the most of the Village when the concert takes place at Parc del Pinaret.

What kind of festival it is

FIMC is not a mega-festival with simultaneous stages, but a series of summer concerts spread across Cambrils. This structure means each night has its own character: from the free boogie-woogie opener at the port to the big August dates at Parc del Pinaret, by way of jazz, early music, gospel and string quartet performances in venues with different atmospheres.

For visitors, this variety is one of its strengths. The 2026 edition can appeal both to tourists looking for a night out on the Costa Daurada and to fans travelling for specific artists. That is why Festival Internacional de Música de Cambrils 2026 works as a broad, wide-reaching summer offering: a concert schedule with its own weight in the high season, closer to a cultural experience spread across the town than to a conventional single-site festival.
