About the festival

Atlantic Pride A Coruña 2026 has now taken place. Here you can find the dates, line-up and practical information for that edition.

Atlantic Pride A Coruña 2026, known as the “Orgullo del Norte” (Pride of the North), took place from 5 to 12 July 2026 in A Coruña. In its 7th edition, this free, inclusive festival, organised by the Asociación ORCO (Orgullo Coruña), will offer a week of concerts, DJ sets, drag shows and the 5th edition of the LGTBIQ+ Literary Competition, cementing its place as a benchmark for diversity and visibility in northern Spain.

The previous edition

In 2025, Atlantic Pride A Coruña held its edition from 8 to 13 July, drawing some 45,000 people and strengthening its image as a space of love, acceptance and inclusion. Plaza de María Pita and Riazor beach were the main stages, hosting concerts, cultural activities and spaces for reflection on diversity, with the support of the Concello da Coruña and sponsors such as Estrella Galicia. The success of this edition has driven the continuation of the free format and the focus on defending LGTBIQ+ rights.

Programme and activities

The 2026 edition will keep the spirit of a free festival open to everyone, with a clear focus on diversity, inclusion and the visibility of the LGTBIQ+ community. Over the eight days, it will combine:

  • Pop concerts (both contemporary and classic).
  • DJ sets by Galician and national artists.
  • Drag shows, including Choriza May’s performance.
  • Cultural and literary activities, including the 5th edition of the LGTBIQ+ Literary Competition.

Access and transport

A Coruña had good road connections, making it easy to reach the festival from different parts of Galicia and the rest of the country. Santiago de Compostela is around 30 minutes away by car via the AG-56 motorway. Other cities such as Ferrol and Tui are less than 2 hours away. Within the city, numerous urban bus routes, taxis and car hire services connect the main Atlantic Pride locations, including areas such as the Jardines de Méndez Núñez, Plaza de Pontevedra, Plaza de María Pita and Riazor beach.

Accommodation options

A Coruña offered a wide range of accommodation, from hotels to guesthouses and holiday apartments. As the festival took place in July, a peak month for tourism, booking in advance is advisable. Options close to several of the main stages include the Hotel Riazor and the NH Collection A Coruña Finisterre, both well located for getting to the concerts and activities with ease.

A unique experience at the Orgullo del Norte

Attending Atlantic Pride A Coruña 2026 means enjoying a complete experience of celebration and activism. Beyond the music, the festival promotes spaces for reflection, cultural activities and artistic projects that encourage the active participation of the LGTBIQ+ community and all its allies. The aim is to establish a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone can express themselves freely and feel part of the so-called Orgullo del Norte.

Other festivals in the area

Galicia has established itself as a key destination for summer festivals. In addition to Atlantic Pride A Coruña, the region hosts events such as O Son do Camiño and Festival Iberia Sumergida, which round out the region’s music and culture offering during the summer season.
