Festivals in A Coruña

Santiago de Compostela and the city of A Coruña account for a large share of what is on offer. In Santiago, the pop and rock of O Son Do Camiño, in June, sit alongside the electronic music of WOS Festival, which in September spreads its programme across the Teatro Principal, the CGAC and other venues. In A Coruña, ExpoRock Festival opens the season in March at EXPOCoruña, and Recorda Fest brings reggaeton and urban music to the Muelle de Batería in September.

Rock is the most common style, with events such as Rock in Rian in Rianxo, in August, and the festivals in Betanzos. July and September are the busiest months; in July, Ortigueira hosts the Festival de Ortigueira, which is devoted to folk.
