Festival do Pasatempo

Festival do Pasatempo is the summer concert series held in the Parque do Pasatempo de Betanzos (A Coruña), the town's historic garden, and it held its second edition in 2022. Its most recent edition took place in June 2025, with Tanxugueiras and Carlos Núñez. It did not take place in 2026 and, as of today, no edition has been announced for either 2026 or 2027.

A small festival in a unique park

The Pasatempo is a family-oriented festival of two or three nights, set up in the park's auditorium. Its line-up has combined Galician artists from the new traditional scene, such as Tanxugueiras and Caamaño & Ameixeiras, with nationally known names from pop and singer-songwriter music.

The known editions illustrate that profile well:

• 2022: second edition, from 14 to 16 July, with Iván Ferreiro and Los Secretos, as part of the Conciertos del Xacobeo.
• 2024: 5 and 6 July, with Andrés Suárez, David Bustamante, Sabela and Paula Mattheus.
• 2025: 27 and 28 June, headlined by Tanxugueiras and Carlos Núñez.

The most recent known edition: 2025

The 2025 edition, produced by the Galician promoter PlayPlan, spread the line-up over two nights. On Friday 27 June, Caamaño & Ameixeiras (21:00), Tanxugueiras (22:30) and ZETAK (00:20) performed. On Saturday 28, Antía Muíño (20:30) and Carlos Núñez (21:30).

Admission was paid. According to the local listings site Planomato, the two-day pass cost €37, a day ticket €24, and there was a pass for under-12s at €12, a price in keeping with its family focus.

What is known about the festival today

The official website still shows the 2025 line-up and schedule. Tentative dates for 2026, 27 and 28 June, did circulate, but no line-up was announced and no tickets went on sale, and that week the park hosted another festival from the same promoter, Fumega Fest, devoted to stoner and doom, on 26 and 27 June 2026.

There has been no statement explaining its absence or announcing its return. As of 14 October 2026, the Pasatempo has no dates for 2027. For other events in the Galician summer, see the listings of festivals in Galicia.
