About the festival
WOS Festival x SON Estrella Galicia holds its ninth edition from 11 to 13 September 2026 in Santiago de Compostela. It does not work as a festival concentrated in a single site: its programme is spread across nine cultural, heritage and nightlife venues in the city, with concerts, DJ sets, audiovisual performances and experimental projects.
The line-up brings together 26 projects linked to ambient, club electronica, electroacoustic composition, improvisation and audiovisual creation. Half of them are presenting new work, premieres or formats designed to combine sound and image in Spain.
WOS Festival 2026 dates
The edition takes place over three days, from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September. The timetable and the breakdown by venue have already been published. This Saturday is the longest day and means choosing between simultaneous performances before the night-time block at the Fundación Laboral.
The Weekend Pass gives access to the entire programme and offers priority entry to venues with limited capacity up to fifteen minutes before the start. This priority does not remove the capacity limit, so you will need to arrive in good time for the most popular performances.
WOS Festival full line-up
The 2026 programme includes Ana Roxanne, Blood of Aza, Demdike Stare, Ben Vince, Midori Hirano, Tujiko Noriko, Shackleton, JASSS, Lee Gamble, Space Afrika, Visible Cloaks, Yu Su and SKY H1.
The line-up is completed by Artur M. Puga & Sevi Iko Dømochevsky, Eerie Enterprise, Grobas b2b Pumu, gyrofield, HHY & The Kampala Unit, Israa Shalaby, Jokkoo Collective, Juli Deák, Mor Elian, Paul Jebanasam, Polygonia, Saya and Slikback together with maltdisney and Tasya.
The organisers highlight the world premiere of Blood of Aza's new hybrid audiovisual concert. There will also be Spanish premieres of mātr, by Paul Jebanasam; Friction, by Slikback, maltdisney and Tasya; Foundry, by Yu Su; and Who Owns the Dark?, by Demdike Stare.
Nine venues across Santiago
WOS will take over the Teatro Principal, the Iglesia de la Universidad, the Fundación Eugenio Granell, the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, the Sala Capitol, the Parque de Bonaval, the Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea, the Sede Afundación and NUMAX.
The format changes depending on the venue. The Teatro Principal is reserved for more intimate listening performances; the Iglesia de la Universidad makes the most of its acoustics for experimental performances; the Fundación Laboral allows for larger-scale audiovisual productions; and Capitol hosts much of the link with club culture and the night.
The Fundación Eugenio Granell and the CGAC strengthen the festival's relationship with the visual arts. NUMAX provides the cinema space, while Bonaval opens part of the route up to public space. Because of this structure, it is worth checking the full timetable before planning each day.
Tickets for WOS Festival 2026
Weekend Passes are available through the official Ataquilla sale. The ticketing platform was showing passes from €75.60 when checked on 12 August, although prices may change as sales tiers progress.
Day tickets will be announced later. Before completing your purchase, you should check which activities are included, how priority access works and whether any event requires a separate booking or ticket.
How to plan your experience
The main difference between WOS and a conventional festival is moving between venues. It is advisable to book accommodation well in advance, study the walking distances and leave time between performances. When the timetables are published, the priority will be to identify clashes and check which venues are likely to reach capacity most quickly.
The official WOS Festival website brings together upcoming timetables, conditions and any free activities. ModoFestival has also published details of the full line-up and the nine venues.
What to see this Saturday and how to get to the Fundación Laboral
Saturday 12 begins at 12:00 in the Parque de Bonaval and takes in the CGAC, Afundación, NUMAX, the Igrexa da Universidade, the Fundación Eugenio Granell and the Teatro Principal. Between 18:00 and 20:00 there are several clashes, so it is best to decide on your route before you start.
From 22:00, the programme moves to the two halls of the Fundación Laboral da Construción with Space Afrika, SKY H1, Shackleton, Eerie Enterprise, gyrofield, Blood of Aza, JASSS, Polygonia and Lee Gamble. There will be buses from Rúa Valle Inclán between 21:00 and 01:00, and a return service through the early hours.
Sunday 13 continues with listening sessions and film before closing with Ana Roxanne at 20:00 at the Teatro Principal. See also the full WOS Festival timetable guide.
