Atmosphere and tips
Huercasa is one of those festivals that makes most sense when you look at the whole picture: open-air concerts, a programme spread between the venue and the town, dancing, local produce and a very visible connection with the surroundings of Riaza. It is not about rushing between giant stages, but about enjoying the weekend at a gentler pace.
If you are travelling from further afield, it is worth booking accommodation well in advance in Riaza or the surrounding area. The small scale of the town is part of the festival's charm, but it also means availability tightens as July approaches.
