Festivals in Castile and León

León is the province with the most festivals in Castile and León, but they are spread widely across the region: Palencia, Valladolid, Burgos and Segovia each host several events, while Zamora, Salamanca, Ávila and Soria complete the map. Rock is the most common genre, veering towards metal at Z! Live Rock, in Zamora, and towards punk at AbejaRock, in Béjar.

Most of the calendar runs from June to August, with July the busiest month. In August, Sonorama Ribera comes to the Recinto El Picón in Aranda de Duero, and in September Ebrovisión brings indie and pop to Miranda de Ebro. León extends the season into winter with Lion Rock Fest in November and Purple Weekend in December, at Espacio Vías.
