About the festival
Aluniza 2027 does not yet have a date, line-up or tickets. The festival at the Aceñas de Cabañales, in Zamora, held its second edition on Saturday 16 May 2026, headlined by Morgan and Micromambo, and has not announced a third since.
What we know about Aluniza 2027
Nothing official. The festival's website still shows the 2026 edition, and its only practical notice concerns refunds of leftover cashless credit. There is no date, no artists and no price for 2027.
The two editions held so far both fell on a Saturday in late spring: 7 June 2025 and 16 May 2026. This is a guide to when the next one might take place, not an announced date.
A full day of concerts beside the Duero
Aluniza is a one-day festival. In 2026 it started at around 13:00 and ran through around ten performances until night. It is organised by Zamora City Council and produced by Avalon Café Jazz, the club on Calle San Andrés that also serves as a physical ticket outlet.
The venue is the Aceñas de Cabañales, the old flour mills on the left bank of the Duero, in the Cabañales neighbourhood, opposite the historic centre. It is an open-air space beside the river, a short walk from the centre across the Puente de Piedra.
Its most distinctive feature is the line-up. Its slogan, ‘the festival where all the bands play well’, sums up the approach: fewer big-draw names and more skilled musicians, from rock and soul to jazz, rumba and roots music. In 2025 the acts included Rufus T. Firefly, Gipsy Power Band, Calequi y las Panteras and Steve Smyth. In 2026, alongside Spanish bands, there was room for bands from Zamora and for a Portuguese group, Meninos das Laranjas.
Reference prices from the last edition
In 2026 general admission cost €40 plus fees on the official website, as announced at the March presentation. The first 200 bought at Avalon Café were sold without booking fees, and the website at one point showed a promotional price of €25. In 2025 tickets started at €25. No prices have been published for 2027.
How Aluniza 2026 went
The second edition took place on Saturday 16 May 2026. Zamora's own Ralli La Fort opened at around 13:00, followed by Vandalia, Meninos das Laranjas, Mäbu, Oba Tenga, Alpargata, who were celebrating twenty years, and local band Las Titis.
The final stretch was reserved for the main acts: Micromambo, the trio of Jairo Zavala, Héctor Rojo and Martín Bruhn; Joe Tatton Trío con Quique Gómez, with a soul-jazz set; and the closing performance by Morgan, who were celebrating ten years of their album North.
MondoSonoro gave it 8 out of 10 and highlighted a varied and daring line-up, far from the ‘copy and paste’ of other festivals. The same review notes that some of the audience were returning after a good impression in 2025.
Zamora has other festival dates in spring and summer, such as Z-Live Rock and Hurra Romería Pop. The rest of the regional calendar is in festivals in Castile and León.
