About the festival
Z! Live Rock Fest 2027 will take place from 17 to 19 June at IFEZA, Zamora. Its twelfth edition already has ten bands confirmed, with Edguy heading a first announcement that also includes Stratovarius, Korpiklaani and Primordial. The rock and metal festival is preparing three days of concerts and still has two more headliners to announce.
The main news is the return of Edguy to bid farewell to the stage. Alongside this reunion, the special sets from Stratovarius and Primordial give character to a programme that combines power metal, folk, progressive metal and melodic rock. The line-up announced so far is partial: there is no day-by-day breakdown of bands or official stage times yet.
Z! Live 2027 dates and venue
The main days will be Thursday 17, Friday 18 and Saturday 19 June 2027. The venue is IFEZA, at carretera de la Aldehuela, 25, 49022 Zamora, the site named in the official ticket sale for this edition.
The main programme runs over three consecutive days, from Thursday to Saturday. Those travelling to see a particular band will still have to wait to find out which day they are playing: the first announcement lets you choose the festival based on its line-up, but not yet plan your visit around a specific performance.
Line-up: the first ten bands confirmed
- Edguy: farewell return.
- Stratovarius: “Best Of Set”.
- Korpiklaani.
- Primordial: “To the Nameless Dead Special Set”.
- The Night Flight Orchestra.
- Conception.
- Virgin Steele.
- Trollfest.
- Bloodhunter.
- K-ØS.
Edguy will reunite Tobias Sammet, Jens Ludwig, Dirk Sauer, Tobias “Eggi” Exxel and Felix Bohnke after almost a decade away from the stage, according to the organisers' announcement. Zamora will be one of the first announced dates of this farewell. It has not been presented as their last concert worldwide or as a Spanish exclusive.
Stratovarius will look back over their career with a set of classics. Primordial, meanwhile, will focus their special performance on To the Nameless Dead, released in 2007 and twenty years old by the time this edition arrives. The announcement does not yet specify the songs for either of these two concerts.
Korpiklaani and Trollfest bring the folk and party side; The Night Flight Orchestra broadens the range towards melodic rock. Conception and Virgin Steele add progressive and epic metal, while Bloodhunter and K-ØS, from Salamanca, complete the Spanish contingent in this first announcement.

Tickets and festival pass prices
The price announced on 8 September 2026 is €130 plus booking fees. The organisers state that Friday 11 September is the last day at this price. In that announcement they did not give the exact closing time or the price of the next tier.
The earlier exclusive June presale for buyers from previous editions is no longer the current offer. The current reference is the Z! Live 2027 ticket sale, linked by the festival. Before paying, check the final price and what the chosen option includes.
Accommodation and planning for the three days
The festival is also offering options that combine a festival pass and accommodation. These can be found on its official website; the existence of these packages does not mean that every pass includes a stay. The nights, the establishment and the conditions of each option should be checked separately.
For now, stage times and the day-by-day breakdown have not been confirmed. Nor does this announcement specify special transport, access arrangements or particular conditions for under-18s for the 2027 edition. Instructions from previous years should not automatically be assumed to apply to the next festival.
The announcement and the special concerts are covered in more detail in our article on Edguy's return and the first Z! Live 2027 line-up.
