In short
- The xx, Teddy Swims, Pixies and The War on Drugs head the first line-up for Bilbao BBK Live 2027, with 38 names for 8, 9 and 10 July at Kobetamendi.
- The general pass costs €175 plus fees and is already on sale; anyone who bought for previous editions or signed up to the fan list can get it for €155 until Friday 13 November at 12:00.

Bilbao BBK Live now has its headliners for 2027. The xx, Teddy Swims, Pixies and The War on Drugs top the first announcement for the edition, which takes place on 8, 9 and 10 July at Kobetamendi, and passes went on sale this Friday at 10:00, at the same time as the announcement.
Bilbao BBK Live 2027 line-up: the first 38 names
The line-up published by the festival features 38 artists. At the top are the four headliners and, just below them, six other big names:
- Headliners: The xx, Teddy Swims, Pixies and The War on Drugs.
- Second tier: alt-J, Amelie Lens with her ‘Aura’ show, Bonobo, Jack Johnson, Two Door Cinema Club and Viva Suecia.
- Rest of the announcement: Alcalá Norte, Antony Szmierek, Ari Abdul, Barry B, DJ Shadow, Fat Dog, Frost Children, Genesis Owusu, Indabe, KEO, Laaza, Los Bitchos, Mala Gestión, Martin, Merina Gris, Mustbejohn, Nøgen, Oxis, Paris Jackson, Saint Levant, Sexy Zebras, Sofia Isella, Sofia and the Antoinettes, SUA, The Womack Sisters, TOC, Violet Grohl and Zeatikez.
The xx return to Kobetamendi, where they last played in 2018. According to the festival, Teddy Swims will play his only concert in Spain in 2027 in Bilbao, and The War on Drugs make their festival debut with an exclusive show. DJ Shadow comes to celebrate 30 years of ‘Endtroducing.....’, his most influential album.
The Spanish contingent is led by Viva Suecia, who will also be at Granada Sound. They are followed by Alcalá Norte, who already played a surprise concert at the festival's 20th anniversary, Sexy Zebras, Barry B and Getxo singer Martin. From the Basque scene come Merina Gris, Nøgen, SUA, Zeatikez and TOC, one of the bands in our Cantera section. Bonobo, another of the second-tier names, has a second summer date in Spain: he is also on the first Sónar 2027 line-up.
Bilbao BBK Live 2027 passes: prices and deadlines
Sales opened on Friday 6 November at 10:00 in three formats at once. The pre-sale for buyers from previous editions and the fan sale, for those who signed up to the waiting list, run until Friday 13 November at 12:00. General sale has no closing date.
- Pre-sale and fan sale pass: €155 plus fees, with the code the festival sends by email.
- General pass: €175 plus fees, for all three days.
- EYCA Gaztea pass: €140 plus fees, for young people aged 14 to 29 with that card.
- Pass with camping: €215.
Passes are sold on Fever, the festival's official ticketing platform, which the Bilbao BBK Live website also links to. ModoFestival may receive a commission if you buy through this link, at no extra cost to you. The line-up poster also advertises payment in instalments. Children under 11 get in free with an adult and a signed authorisation.
Group pass and camping
The new addition this year is the bono cuadrilla group pass: buy six passes together and pay for five, which brings each one down to €146 plus fees. It is the cheapest option for those going as a group, although all six must be bought at once.
The official campsite at Kobetamendi costs €40 plus fees for the four nights and can be bought separately or together with the pass. The festival website also keeps the direct buses from other cities.
What we still don't know
The festival has not yet split the artists by day or put single-day tickets on sale, so for now the only way to go is with a pass. There are no stage times either, and the organisers say more names will be announced in the coming months.
Bilbao BBK Live clashes with other big festivals in summer 2027: Icónica Sevilla Fest has a concert on 9 July and Córdoba Live on the 10th.
