In short

elrow will kick off 2027 far from the clubs. The elrow New Year's Day Festival takes place on Friday 1 January at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló, with more than twelve hours of music across three stages. Tickets have been on sale for weeks and have already gone up in price, even though the line-up has still not been published. Here is what you need to know to plan the first day of the year.
Date, times and venue
The festival opens at 14:00 on 1 January and closes at 02:00 in the early hours of the 2nd. The organisers mention three stages and more than 20,000 people, and the ticketing platform sets the minimum age at 18; general admission tickets are personalised, so you need to bring official ID matching the name on the booking.
The venue is the Formula 1 and MotoGP circuit in the Vallès Oriental (Mas La Moreneta, s/n, Montmeló). It is the brand's big event in the city: elrow did not hold an XXL in Barcelona in 2026, as we explained in the festival profile.
Tickets and prices: third release and no line-up
Official sales are through Enterticket, the ticketing platform linked from the elrow website. These were the prices on 5 November:
- General Access, €48 in the third release (‘3rd Release’). In mid-October, the cheapest ticket cost €44.
- VIP Gold, €144: access to the elrow Stage with a view of the DJ, an exclusive entry lane and dedicated bar and toilets.
- Grand Prix Privé, €300: a VIP Gold ticket plus a meal with showcooking by 21 de Marzo Catering, from 14:00 to 17:00 in the Panorama Village, and access to the official private party that starts in the same space at 02:00. Places are limited.
- VIP Tables: tables by reservation only, through elrow's VIP team; no public price.
Neither the elrow website nor the ticketing platform shows any artists yet. elrow parties are known for their staging, with sets, costumes and confetti, but anyone who wants to know who is playing before paying will have to wait for the announcement, which the organisers have not dated.
How to get to the Circuit de Montmeló
The organisers have arranged official buses with Busforfun, which are sold separately:
- Shuttle buses from Barcelona (plaça de Francesc Macià) and Badalona (avinguda de Salvador Espriu, 1). They run at staggered times: outbound from 13:00 to 17:00, and return from 02:00 to 05:00.
- Route 1: Tarragona (carrer del Coure, 2, Repsol station) at 12:00, stopping in L'Hospitalet (carretera del Mig, 146).
- Route 2: Terrassa (carrer de Ciudad Real, 68) at 12:30, stopping in Sabadell (FGC Ibèria station).
By train, the Rodalies R2 Nord line stops in Montmeló; from Girona, the R11 requires a change at Granollers Centre to the R2 or R8. Drivers have free parking, according to the festival website. With closing time at two in the morning, getting home is the first thing to sort out: the official buses are the only option the organisers have scheduled for after closing.
