In short

  1. Lori Meyers are the second name for Granada Sound 2027 and arrive with a new record, ‘Disonancia’, to play on home turf in the year of the festival's 15th anniversary.
  2. The festival celebrates fifteen years on 24 and 25 September at the Cortijo del Conde, with content about its history announced for the coming months.
  3. Festival passes are still from €55 including fees, the same starting price as on 19 October; VIP starts at €110 and Front Stage at €210.
  4. With two acts confirmed, the line-up is still almost blank: there is no day-by-day breakdown and no single-day tickets, and the organisers have not set a date for the next batch.

Granada Sound now has a home-town band for its birthday. Lori Meyers will play the 2027 edition, the 15th anniversary, which takes place on 24 and 25 September at the Cortijo del Conde. They are the festival's second name after Viva Suecia, announced two and a half weeks ago, and a band formed in Loja, in the province, which the festival itself links to the musical history of Granada.

Lori Meyers return to Granada Sound with ‘Disonancia’

The announcement comes at a busy time for the band. In October Lori Meyers released ‘Disonancia’, their eighth studio album and their first with new songs in five years, since ‘Espacios infinitos’. The festival presents the concert as a return to Granada Sound that will bring together this new chapter with a career tied to Spanish indie since the late nineties.

Granada Sound will not be their only appearance in 2027. Lori Meyers were already confirmed for SanSan Festival, in Benicàssim, from 25 to 27 March, and for Mar de Jávea, on 26 and 27 March. The difference lies in the context: in March they will share line-ups at two festivals on the Mediterranean coast; in September they will play at home, at the edition with which the festival celebrates fifteen years.

Fifteen years of Granada Sound: 24 and 25 September at the Cortijo del Conde

Granada Sound was born in 2012 and, according to the organisers, has gone through several stages and venues before settling at the Cortijo del Conde, the same site that hosts MUAC Fest and Granada Latina Festival. For the anniversary, the festival is announcing special content about its previous editions over the coming months, without yet specifying what it will involve.

The dates are those already known: Friday 24 and Saturday 25 September 2027, almost two weeks later than the 2026 edition, which took place on 11 and 12 September.

Granada Sound 2027 festival passes: the price has not changed

As of 6 November, the official website still lists the same starting prices as when sales opened, all with booking fees included:

  • General pass, from €55: access to the concerts on both days.
  • VIP pass, from €110: adds a VIP area, one free beer per day, priority entry and a VIP platform.
  • Front Stage pass, from €210: everything in the VIP pass plus access to the front area of the main stage.

Tickets are bought through the official Granada Sound website, which redirects to its own shop. The “from” indicates that prices will rise in tiers, although the festival does not publish when they change. For reference, the 2026 general pass cost from €70 in the final week before the festival, as we reported at the time.

What we still don't know about Granada Sound 2027

With Viva Suecia and Lori Meyers, the festival has two acts for two days. There is no day-by-day breakdown, no single-day tickets, no stage times and no transport information for 2027, and the organisers only say they will keep revealing artists. The survey on its website for the public to suggest names is still open, with a prize draw for two VIP passes.

For audiences in Granada, the confirmation of Lori Meyers is a strong reason to buy at the starting price. Those who want to decide based on the full line-up will have to wait for more announcements, presumably with a more expensive pass. Updates will be added to the Granada Sound festival page, and the edition's first announcement is in our article on Viva Suecia. Other events in the region are on the map of festivals in Andalusia.
