In short

  1. January mixes short events and long series: Elrow XXL opens the year, Actual and Benidorm Fest take up specific days, and Inverfest and Let's Festival spread concerts across venues in Madrid and L'Hospitalet until March.
  2. February leans on rock, with flamenco in Jerez as a counterpoint: Rockin’ Race in Torremolinos, Riot GZ in Lugo and Gazpatxo Rock in Ayora, while the Festival de Jerez runs from 19 February to 6 March.
  3. The five festivals starting in March fall on two weekends: Polar Sound and ExpoRock on 12 and 13 March, and SanSan, Mar de Jávea and Costa Sonora from 25 to 27 March, during Holy Week.
  4. Nine are already selling tickets or passes, although hardly any have finalised their line-up, and the only serious clash comes from 25 to 27 March, with Lori Meyers announced at both SanSan and Mar de Jávea.

Winter 2027 already has a calendar. Between 1 January and 27 March there are fourteen festivals whose dates have been announced by their organisers, from the New Year's Elrow XXL at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya to SanSan in Benicàssim, which closes March during Holy Week.

They do not all work the same way. Some are one- or two-day festivals at a single site; others are concert series spread across venues over several weeks, where each night is bought separately. And almost all of them still have only part of their line-up, so this list is mainly useful for saving the dates and seeing what can already be bought.

Festivals in January 2027

  • Elrow XXL: Friday 1 January, at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (Montmeló), from 14:00 to 02:00. elrow's New Year party is selling through Enterticket, with general admission and several VIP options; its website does not show prices.
  • Actual: from 2 to 6 January in Logroño, in its 37th edition. The concerts covered by the pass are on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 January at the Palacio de los Deportes, with the line-up still to be announced: what is on sale are €45 blind passes, in a second batch of 500 after the first sold out.
  • Inverfest: Madrid's winter series starts at the end of October, but the bulk of it arrives with the new year. Its website lists 106 concerts between 7 January and 6 March, 69 of them in January, at venues such as La Riviera, El Sol and the Teatro Circo Price, which hosts it from 15 January to 7 February. There is no pass: each concert is bought separately. The breakdown by venue and date is in the Inverfest 2027 calendar.
  • Let's Festival: from Saturday 23 January to Saturday 13 March in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, with 20 concerts in five venues. Names include The Boo Radleys (12 February), Miss Caffeina (19 February) and Fujiya & Miyagi (6 March). The dates and venues for each night are in the Let's Festival 2027 guide.
  • Benidorm Fest: semi-finals on Tuesday 26 and Thursday 28 January and the final on Saturday 30 January, in Benidorm. RTVE presented the 18 contestants in mid-October. The press places the shows at the Palau d'Esports L'Illa, although RTVE has not confirmed this or announced tickets.

Festivals in February 2027

  • Rockin’ Race Jamboree: from Wednesday 3 to Sunday 7 February in Torremolinos (Málaga), in its 33rd edition. The roots rock and roll festival is already selling 2027 tickets on its website, which does not yet give details of the venues.
  • Riot GZ Fest: Saturday 13 February at Sala Tebras in Lugo, from 18:00 to 03:00. The first €29 tier has sold out and the second is now on sale, at €32 plus a 5% fee. Its website does not yet show this edition's line-up.
  • Festival de Jerez: from Friday 19 February to Saturday 6 March, in its 31st edition. The city's flamenco festival has its programme organised day by day on its website, along with a section on courses, but the homepage does not yet announce ticket sales.
  • Gazpatxo Rock: Saturday 20 February at the Recinto de Carnavales de Ayora (Valencia). It is the February festival with the most confirmed names: Soziedad Alkoholika, Reincidentes, Narco, Kaótiko, Manifa, KOP, MOMO, Combo Calada and Deaf Devils, plus Ele DJ. Tickets were €33 in the third offer, with the two previous ones sold out; the details are in the article on Gazpatxo Rock 2027.

Festivals in March 2027

  • Polar Sound: Friday 12 and Saturday 13 March at the Estación de esquí de Baqueira Beret (Val d'Aran), from 17:00 to 03:00. With no line-up or price published, the festival scheduled the presale of the first 2,000 tickets for this Tuesday at 12:00, only for those who had signed up to the waiting list, as we reported in the article on the Polar Sound presale.
  • ExpoRock: Saturday 13 March at EXPOCoruña (A Coruña), in its second edition. Its line-up so far includes Los Enemigos, Lendakaris Muertos, Narco and Catalina Grande Piñón Pequeño, with tickets from €40.
  • SanSan Festival: from Thursday 25 to Saturday 27 March at the Recinto de Festivales de Benicàssim. It has around fifty names, including Lori Meyers, Iván Ferreiro, Sidonie and La Pegatina, but no day-by-day breakdown yet. The general pass costs €69 including fees on Fever, its official ticket seller. ModoFestival may receive a commission if you buy through this link, at no extra cost to you. What is known about the line-up is in the article on the SanSan 2027 line-up.
  • Mar de Jávea: Friday 26 and Saturday 27 March at the Recinto La Fontana in Xàbia (Alicante), from 17:00 to 02:00 and open to all ages. The fourth edition currently has Lori Meyers, Los Secretos, Walls and Éxtasis, and sells only through its website, as explained in the article on its first announcement.
  • Costa Sonora: Friday 26 and Saturday 27 March in Alicante, in its third edition. It is already selling passes, including with the Bono Cultural, but has not announced where it will be held. The 2026 edition took place on 3 and 4 April; if the venue affects your travel or accommodation, it is worth waiting until it is confirmed.

Where they clash and what you can buy now

January and February leave little to choose between: the dates barely overlap, except that Gazpatxo Rock falls on 20 February, in the middle of the Festival de Jerez, and that Let's Festival and Inverfest remain active for weeks. The clashes come in March.

On Saturday 13 March, the second day of Polar Sound in the Pyrenees, ExpoRock in A Coruña and the closing night of Let's Festival in L'Hospitalet coincide: three different audiences rather than direct competition. The real clash is from 25 to 27 March. SanSan, Mar de Jávea and Costa Sonora take place in the Valencian Community on the same weekend, right in the middle of Holy Week, with Good Friday, 26 March, a public holiday throughout Spain. Lori Meyers is announced at both SanSan and Mar de Jávea, although SanSan has not yet split its line-up by day.

As of today, tickets or passes can be bought for Elrow XXL, Actual, Rockin’ Race, Riot GZ, Gazpatxo Rock, ExpoRock, SanSan, Mar de Jávea and Costa Sonora, as well as individual concerts at Inverfest and Let's Festival. Polar Sound had scheduled its presale for this Tuesday. Benidorm Fest and the Festival de Jerez have not yet announced how tickets will be sold.

If you are planning beyond winter, the festival calendar has the rest of the year's dates, and the 2027 weekends when you will have to choose between several festivals are in the May and June clashes and in the seven festivals on the first weekend of July.
