In short
- This sale is only for people registered as residents of Benicàssim: the official form asks buyers to confirm this, and everyone else will have to wait for another phase, which has no date yet.
- Registration closes this Wednesday 28 October at 12:00, and those who are validated will be able to buy from Monday 2 November at 10:00 until Tuesday 3 at the same time, according to the website, using a link that will be sent by email.
- The general pass starts at €44.99 including fees, the same figure as July's open pre-sale; the VIP pass starts at €110 and the Golden VIP at €210.
- For those who do not live in Benicàssim, FIB 2027 still has no line-up or general sale announced: there are only dates, 15 to 17 July, and a form to sign up for notifications.
FIB is once again looking to its home town first. The Festival Internacional de Benicàssim has opened registration to sell passes for its 2027 edition to locals registered as residents of Benicàssim, with a deadline of Wednesday 28 October at 12:00 and an exclusive 24-hour sale starting on Monday 2 November. The general pass costs from €44.99 for the festival's three days, 15 to 17 July 2027.
Who can buy: only locals registered as residents of Benicàssim
The official FIB website labels each price "price for registered residents", without saying where. The sign-up form, titled "Formulario Empadronados FIB 2027", clears this up: as well as first name, surname, phone number and email, it requires ticking the box "I confirm that I am a citizen registered as a resident of Benicàssim" and agreeing for that data to be processed to manage a ticket promotion tied to that condition. Being from Castellón or the Valencian Community is therefore not enough.
The organisers do not explain how they will check residency registration before validating each sign-up, or whether there will be a limit on passes per person. They did in previous campaigns: for the 2020 edition they asked for the certificate of residency registration and limited purchases to two passes per DNI, according to Castellón Información, and for 2022 they allowed up to four, according to TodoBenicàssim. Those were the rules in other years; the 2027 rules have not been published.
The approach is not new either. In other years FIB has reserved a first sale at a special price for locals, and in November 2021 the organisers put the number of passes sold to registered residents for the following edition at more than 5,000.
Registration until Wednesday at 12:00 and sale in a 24-hour window
The schedule published on the official website has two steps. First, registration via the form, open until Wednesday 28 October at 12:00. Then, once the sign-up has been validated, the purchase: from Monday 2 November at 10:00 until Tuesday 3 November at 10:00. The form warns that the purchase link will be sent to the email address provided, so it is worth typing it without mistakes.
There is one detail that does not add up. The message that appears at the end of the sign-up says the email with the link will arrive "from 5 November, at 10:00", three days later than the website states. The festival has not clarified which of the two dates applies; anyone who registers should check their email from Monday 2 and, if nothing arrives, contact the organisers before the window closes on Tuesday 3.

Passes from €44.99: what each one includes
All three passes give access to the three days, from Thursday 15 to Saturday 17 July 2027, and their prices include booking fees and the warning "while stocks last". All are advertised as "from", so it cannot be ruled out that they will rise in tiers during the sale.
- General pass, from €44.99: all three days and general parking, subject to availability.
- VIP pass, from €110: exclusive parking, priority entry lanes, VIP area with its own bars, food, rest area and toilets, VIP stand, three pints, commemorative lanyard and official cup.
- Golden VIP, from €210: the same as the VIP plus access to the Front Stage at the main stage and nine drinks instead of three pints, excluding XL sizes.
The €44.99 is not a new figure. It is the same price at which the pre-sale open to the general public started on 21 July: 3,000 passes over 48 hours, announced just after the 2026 edition closed with 135,000 attendances, according to the organisers. The advantage for locals, therefore, is not a discount on that pre-sale, but being able to buy at that price when the website currently offers no open sale to anyone else. What the website does not say is how much the general pass will cost when sales reopen to everyone.
At €44.99, each day works out at €15. At the same site, the SanSan 2027 pass costs €69 including fees for another three days, €23 per day, and none of the passes we reviewed in what a pass costs at 20 festivals in 2027, from cheapest to most expensive drops below €20 per day. The trade-off is the usual one at this stage: you are buying without a single confirmed name.
If you are not a registered resident: what we know about FIB 2027
Little more than the dates. The 31st edition will run from Thursday 15 to Saturday 17 July 2027 in Benicàssim, with no artists announced and no date for a new general sale. The official website keeps a second form, open to anyone, to receive notice of the next pass release and line-up news.
For those planning their summer, FIB arrives eleven days after the end of the seven festivals that coincide from 1 to 4 July 2027. The dates, passes and line-up, once announced, will be on the FIB page, and there are more events in the province on the festivals in Castellón page.
