In short
- Outono Códax spreads twelve acts across eight nights between 7 and 28 November, from Kitty, Daisy & Lewis on the opening night to The Sadies at the close, always at Sala Capitol or Riquela Club.
- Doors open at 20:00 and the music starts at around 21:00: the festival website gives the opening time, while the ticket sales page lists each show at nine.
- The €65 plus fees pass pays off from the third concert at Capitol onwards, because each individual night costs €24 plus fees in advance, but it is not valid for the Riquela dates.
- Capitol does not admit under-16s, while Riquela does if they are accompanied; at both venues a ticket on the door costs four euros more than an advance ticket before fees.
Outono Códax Festival reaches its 16th edition with a whole month of soul, garage and roots rock in Santiago de Compostela. It kicks off on Saturday 7 November with Kitty, Daisy & Lewis and Skanderani at Sala Capitol and ends on Saturday 28 with The Sadies, Howlin' Jaws and Terra Lightfoot. In between there are nights at the small Riquela Club, a Tuesday of New York garage and a pass that only covers one of the two venues.
The programme, night by night
This is not a weekend festival but a series of club gigs: twelve acts over eight dates, almost all with two or three bands a night. This is the line-up published on the official website.
- Saturday 7 November, Sala Capitol: Kitty, Daisy & Lewis and Skanderani. The Durham siblings, from London, swap vocals and instruments across blues, rockabilly and country; their latest album, Superscope, is now almost a decade old. Opening are Galician band Skanderani, a quartet from A Estrada who blend Afropunk psychedelia with Arabic roots.
- Wednesday 11 November, Riquela Club: Tiwayo. The French singer presents Outsider, a soul and blues album produced by Adrián Quesada of Black Pumas. Watch out with this date: the ticket sales page lists it on Tuesday 10, so it is worth confirming the day before making plans.
- Friday 13 November, Sala Capitol: HENGE and Oh! Gunquit. The most eccentric night: British act HENGE claim to come from another planet, mix rave and prog rock and bring Journey to Voltus B (2025); Oh! Gunquit, from London, draw on psychedelic surf and garage punk.
- Saturday 14 November, Sala Capitol: DeRobert & The Half-Truths and MRCY. Soul night: the Nashville version, with horns and funk, and the more contemporary take of British duo MRCY, close to R&B and gospel.
- Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 November, Riquela Club: Barrence Whitfield & MFC Chicken. The veteran American shouter revisits the repertoire of his early years with The Savages, backed by rock and roll band MFC Chicken. These are two nights with a separate ticket for each.
- Tuesday 24 November, Sala Capitol: The Fuzztones. Rudi Protrudi's band, with more than four decades of garage and psychedelia behind them, play alone on the only midweek date at Capitol.
- Saturday 28 November, Sala Capitol: The Sadies, Howlin' Jaws and Terra Lightfoot. The longest night, closing the festival with three acts. ModoFestival reported back in August that The Sadies would close Outono Códax; the Canadian band have continued as a trio since the death of Dallas Good in 2022. They are joined by Parisian trio Howlin' Jaws and Canadian guitarist Terra Lightfoot.
Read night by night, the line-up falls into three clear blocks: soul on the 11th and 14th, garage on the 13th and 24th, and the roots rock that opens and closes the month. Anyone who can only make one or two dates can choose on that basis.

What time each concert starts
The festival website gives every date the same time: 20:00, doors open. The ticket sales page adds the other detail: each show is listed at 21:00, which is when the first concert can be expected. That is why some listings say eight and others nine. Both times are correct, but they do not mean the same thing.
The festival has not published set times for each band. On nights with two or three bands, the headliner will play after the support acts, so anyone going for The Sadies on the 28th or Kitty, Daisy & Lewis on the 7th need not arrive when the doors open.
Pass or single ticket: when it pays off
The Capitol pass gives access to the five nights at Sala Capitol: 7, 13, 14, 24 and 28 November. This explains the two prices doing the rounds. There was a launch price of €59 plus fees for the first 70 buyers; for everyone else, the price is €65 plus fees. As of today, only the second price is on sale, with €3.50 in booking fees, making €68.50 in total.
A single ticket for any night at Capitol costs €24 plus €2.40 in fees in advance and €28 on the door at the venue. With those figures, two single concerts work out cheaper than the pass, but from the third onwards the pass is the better deal: three advance tickets add up to €79.20.
The pass does not include the Riquela Club dates, namely Tiwayo and the two nights of Barrence Whitfield & MFC Chicken. Tickets for those must be bought separately: €18 plus €1.80 in fees in advance and €22 on the door. As well as online, physical tickets are sold at A Reixa-Matrioska, in Santiago.
Capitol and Riquela: two venues with different rules
Sala Capitol, on rúa Concepción Arenal, hosts five of the eight dates. According to the official ticket sales page, under-16s are not admitted, including with the pass.
Riquela Club, at rúa do Preguntoiro, 35, right in the old town, is a much smaller club and admits accompanied under-16s. It hosts the most intimate concerts of the series, and with two consecutive nights of Barrence Whitfield, anyone who cannot get a ticket for Wednesday 18 has another chance on Thursday 19.
Outono Códax did not feature in the guide to festivals in November 2026, which focused on weekend events such as Mira, Lion Rock and Monkey Week, but it fills the whole month in Santiago. There are more events in the city on the festivals in Santiago de Compostela page.
