In short
- The gigs run from 20:00 to 00:30 and the DJ aftershow continues until 6:00, with doors at 19:30 on Saturday 31 October; the organisers have not announced what time each band plays.
- [:SITD:] are celebrating 30 years and Dawn of Ashes play in Spain for the first time, alongside Frozen Plasma and Xotox, with eight DJs spread across two rooms.
- Advance tickets cost €39.30 including fees; on the door, if any are left, they will be €40 in cash, and from 00:30 there will be an aftershow-only ticket for €25 including a drink.
- This year the entrance to Poble Espanyol is via Camí de la Foixarda, because the venue's Plaza Mayor is hosting another event; to get home at 6:00, the metro runs all night from Saturday to Sunday.
Barcelona's dark electronic Halloween takes place on Saturday in Montjuïc. On 31 October, Nocturna Festival brings together [:SITD:], Frozen Plasma, Dawn of Ashes and Xotox at Sala Upload, inside Poble Espanyol, for a night that opens its doors at 19:30 and closes at 6:00. Eclipse Group, the promoter behind it, this week published the schedule in time slots along with a change worth knowing about before you leave home: entry will not be through the usual entrance.
Nocturna Festival 2026 stage times: gigs until 00:30 and aftershow until 6
The night has two parts. The gigs run from 20:00 to 00:30, after which the aftershow begins, with DJ sets, a photocall and performances, until 6:00, according to the schedule Eclipse Group published on Instagram on 26 October. Ticketmaster gives the same door time, 19:30, and sets the start at 20:00.
What is not yet known is the running order: neither the organisers nor the venue have announced what time each band goes on. That is four bands in four and a half hours, so if you are going for a particular band, the safe bet is to be inside by 20:00. The venue will have the kitchen open, bars that take card and cash, a cloakroom, a smoking terrace overlooking Poble Espanyol and band merchandise stalls.
Who is playing: the [:SITD:] anniversary and Dawn of Ashes' Spanish debut
The main draw is [:SITD:]. The organisers present them as one of the legends of European dark electro and say the band are celebrating their 30 years in Barcelona on their first visit to Nocturna. The other big announcement is Dawn of Ashes: the Los Angeles band are playing in Spain for the first time, in what Eclipse Group describes as their only concert in Europe. Frozen Plasma and Xotox complete the live line-up, and the shows come from Mss Morrigan & Wild Pony and Markos Darko & Nervio; the promoter presents the latter two as the night's masters of ceremonies.
The eight DJs are split across two rooms. In the first, Vasi Vallis, a member of Frozen Plasma who is also on the bill with his band, plays alongside Schwarzblut and David Herzeleid, from Madrid, Vitorio Testa, from Barcelona, and 3Bit, from Valencia. In the second, it is Larva, Energumeno, from Alqa, and Emma Volcane, from The Red Ashes. The line-up looks to the dark electronic, EBM and industrial scene, setting it apart from the techno parties on the same night covered in our guide to Halloween 2026 festivals in Spain.

The formula is not new. In 2025, also on 31 October and at the same venue, Nocturna brought together Nachtmahr, Funker Vogt, Grausame Töchter and Hasswut, among others, with tickets from €36.20, according to La Ganzúa's listings. This year the advance ticket is around three euros more expensive.
Tickets: €39.30 in advance and €40 on the door
General admission, which covers both the gigs and the aftershow, costs €37 plus fees. On Ticketmaster it comes to €39.30, including €2.30 in booking fees, and was still on sale on Tuesday. ModoFestival may receive a commission if you buy through this link, at no extra cost to you. Tickets are digital only, with no PDF or paper option, and there is a maximum of six per person. The organisers also sell them at the Pentagram shop and on their website, and have been warning since 21 October that the last ones remain.
On the door, cash only, tickets will cost €40. From 00:30 there will also be an aftershow-only ticket for €25 including one drink. Both depend on advance sales not selling out first: Sala Upload warns that when that happens, the box office does not normally open.
Getting to Sala Upload: this year, via Camí de la Foixarda
The venue is within the Poble Espanyol complex, at Avenida de Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, 13. What is new is the entrance: as Poble Espanyol's Plaza Mayor is hosting another event that night, Nocturna-goers will enter through the Camí de la Foixarda gate, according to the organisers, who have posted a map on their Instagram.
By metro, the nearest stop is Espanya, on lines L1 and L3; by bus, lines 13 and 23 stop at Poble Espanyol, and the 150 also serves the area. To get home at six in the morning there is no need to look for a night bus: Barcelona City Council says the metro runs all night from Saturday to Sunday. Those driving will find blue-zone and green-zone street parking and a supervised paid car park nearby, according to the venue.
Minimum age: under-16s must be accompanied
Ticketmaster states that under-16s may enter accompanied by their mother, father or legal guardian. Sala Upload's general rules add that those aged 16 to 18 must prove their age with valid ID and that, during club hours, entry is 18+. Neither the organisers nor the venue have clarified whether that limit applies to Nocturna's aftershow, so anyone going with minors should check with Eclipse Group beforehand.
If your Saturday plans are not yet settled, this week's festival listings round up the rest of the events through to Sunday, and in Madrid the electronic alternative is Halloween Takeover, with twelve hours of music at Iberdrola Music.
