Calafell Festival Weekend

Calafell Festival Weekend, the weekend of concerts that Calafell organises in early May, does not yet have a date for 2027. The 2026 edition was held on 2 and 3 May at Parc de la Sínia, with Buhos, Markos and Lildami among the names on the programme.

Behind it is the Ajuntament de Calafell, through its tourism department. That explains much of its character: rather than a festival of big headliners, it is a weekend of live music and activities also designed with families in mind.

What we know about the 2027 edition

The Ajuntament has not yet published dates, a line-up or tickets for 2027, and the festival's ticketing page has no active events.

The last two editions do, however, point to a pattern: both coincided with the first weekend of May, around the 1 May bank holiday. In 2025 the festival ran from 1 to 4 May; in 2026 it was cut back to Saturday 2 and Sunday 3. This is the most reliable reference for planning, but it is not an announced date.

A municipal weekend with music and a family audience

The festival grew out of the former Calafell Family Weekend, and it retains that dual purpose. In 2025 it programmed 26 concerts spread across several venues in the municipality, with names such as Ambauka, Paula Koops, El Pot Petit and Manu Guix, alongside family workshops and magic and circus shows. Tickets and passes were sold through CodeTickets.

In 2026 the format was concentrated in Parc de la Sínia, an urban park in Calafell that some listings translate as Parque de la Noria. Part of the programme was free with limited capacity, and part was paid. No prices have been published for a future edition.

How Calafell Festival Weekend 2026 went

The municipal listings placed the edition on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 May 2026 at Parc de la Sínia, with this programme:

• Saturday 2 May: Markos at 20:00 and Buhos, the band from Calafell, at 21:00.
• Sunday 3 May: Festa del Ball at 12:00.
• Gira Dial Unicxs, from 19:00 and with no specific day given in the listings, featuring Merche, Manu Guix, Max Navarro, Ivan Herzog, Ana Guerra, David DeMaria and Ernest Prana.
• In addition, Lildami, David Rees, Sara Roy, Edu Esteve, Lluís Sánchez, Gisela, Mama Dousha and Jim, with no specific day given in the listings.

The presence of Buhos, who were celebrating their twentieth anniversary in 2026 with a tour, gave the line-up a local touch. The Dial Unicxs tour provided the Spanish-language pop block best known to the general public, and Lildami brought Catalan-language rap.
