Festival Color Latino

Festival Color Latino was conceived as a major day of Latin music by the sea at Marina Norte de València, but it never actually took place. Its only edition, scheduled for 15 August 2025, was cancelled before the gates opened, and since then the organisers have not announced any further edition: there is no date for 2026 or for 2027.

What Color Latino offered

The format was a one-day festival, with gates opening at 17:00 and a line-up designed more for dancing than for discovering new artists. It mixed Colombian salsa, vallenato, bachata and Latin urban pop, and was aimed at a broad audience more interested in dancing than in novelty.

The chosen venue, on the Moll de la Duana, is one of the spaces València uses for open-air concerts on its seafront. The rest of what the area has to offer can be found in the festivals in the Valencian Community.

The 2025 edition, cancelled before it took place

The line-up announced for 15 August 2025 brought together four names:

• Grupo Niche, the Colombian salsa orchestra, as headliner.
• Los Diablitos, representing vallenato.
• Grupo Extra, with contemporary-style bachata.
• Dama, in the field of Latin urban pop.

Tickets went on sale at €45 for general admission, €120 for VIP and €150 for VIP Latino, according to the Visit València events listings. The same listings later reported that the organiser had cancelled the festival and that refunds had to be requested from the same point of sale where the ticket was bought. No reason for the cancellation was made public.

Grupo Niche, with a career spanning more than four decades, was the main draw and defined the festival's profile: an adult, salsa-loving audience rather than the crowd at the urban music festivals that dominate the summer.

What is known about the festival today

The official website is still online, but it only shows the date of 15 August, with no year, no new line-up and no ticket sales. There has been no announcement of a new edition, nor any ticketing platform with active dates, and Color Latino did not take place in summer 2026.

Anyone looking for a Latin music event in València will have to look to other festivals on the calendar: based on the information available as of 14 October 2026, Color Latino has no edition announced.
