About the festival
Pirata Fallas is a rap and urban music festival that used the Fallas season to stage a night of concerts in the Jardines de Viveros in València. Its most recent documented edition took place on 8 March 2025. There was no Pirata Fallas during the 2026 Fallas and, as of 14 October 2026, no edition has been announced for either 2026 or 2027.
The last known edition: 2025
The 2025 event was held on Saturday 8 March, a week before the main days of the Fallas, with tickets from €22. The line-up brought together four different profiles from the urban scene:
- Recycled J, a rapper from Carabanchel, who had released Casanova in 2023.
- Kaze, a rapper from Cartagena, who was presenting his album Antipop.
- Faenna, a rapper known for tracks such as «Papeles y mechero» and «Soniquete».
- La Chispa, a new name in flamenco, who arrived following her Benidorm Fest entry with «Hartita de llorar».
The format was a single night at a central venue, slotted into the Fallas calendar rather than a long festival weekend.
What is known about 2026 and 2027
No edition was announced for the 2026 Fallas. That year, the Jardines de Viveros hosted a different event, La Liga Burger, with free concerts and food from 5 to 8 March, separate from Pirata Fallas. There are also no dates, line-up or ticket sales for 2027, nor any statement about the festival's future.
Anyone looking for the Pirata name in the Valencian calendar should distinguish this event from the Pirata Beach Festival in Gandia, a different festival held in summer. For other options in the city and the rest of the region, the listings of festivals in the Valencian Community include those with an upcoming edition.
