About the festival
Sonraíz 2026 has confirmed dates: 18 to 20 September in Carcabuey, Córdoba. Its fifth edition brings together roots music and contemporary creation with activities around the village, food and heritage. It is not a festival concentrated on a single open-air site: the music programme uses the Parque Municipal, the Plaza and the Castillo.
The line-up features La Yegros, Queralt Lahoz, TÄRA, Hempress Sativa, Blanca Paloma, Carmen Xía and Vinila Von Bismark, among other names. The mix makes it possible to move from vocal and flamenco acts to cumbia, reggae and electronic music over the same weekend.
Sonraíz 2026 dates and venues
Activities begin on Friday 18 and continue until Sunday 20. The main concerts are spread across Friday and Saturday, while Sunday is given over to experiences and activities. It is worth distinguishing between the calendar date and the festival day: Saturday's concerts that start after midnight actually take place in the early hours of Sunday.
The Parque Municipal hosts the night-time programme; the Plaza hosts music and daytime activities; and the Castillo de Carcabuey hosts the concerts on Saturday afternoon. Each venue has its own programme and entry conditions, so a ticket should not be assumed to be valid for every activity without checking its type.
Line-up by day
Friday 18 brings together Cristina Len, TÄRA, Queralt Lahoz, Vinila Von Bismark and DALILA. The Parque Municipal poster announces a slot from 19:00 to 04:00, with concerts and a closing set.
Saturday 19 features Las Hijas de la Cumbia and Carmen Xía in the Plaza; Teresa Jiménez and Jihan, Lewa and Blanca Paloma at the Castillo; and Morgana Souljah, Isla Kume, Hempress Sativa, La Yegros and Terrae in the Parque. The official programme places Lewa on Saturday, not as a Sunday concert.
The Plaza announces activities between 10:00 and 20:00, with free entry. The Castillo slot runs from 18:00 to 21:30; the Parque's on Saturday, from 21:30 to 05:00. These are the general time slots for each venue, not the length of every live set. The Sonraíz stage times guide lists the individual times.

Tickets and additional activities
The festival's ticket page lets you check the available festival passes and tickets. Check which stages and experiences each option covers before buying: music, camping and activity plans may require different selections.
As well as the concerts, Sonraíz offers workshops, walking routes and activities linked to rural life. Its programme combines crafts, food and cultural creation, so setting aside time during the day lets you discover a part of the event that does not appear in the night-time schedules.
Camping, campervans and parking
The organisers have placed the campsite at the Piscina Municipal and the campervan area in the Parque de La Charcuela. Both options have limited places and specific access. Tents are not allowed in the campervan area; the campsite is the space set aside for them.
The football pitch serves as free general parking, with no booking and no security. Parking there is not the same as having a camping pitch. The official information also explains the use of the showers and changing rooms at the municipal sports hall and how to add the camping add-on to a purchase already made.
Before travelling to Carcabuey
Check the venue for each concert and allow time to get between venues. For somewhere to stay, look at accommodation in the village and across the Subbética; to arrive by public transport, check the mobility links provided by the organisers, without assuming there will be a return service in the early hours.
