Monkey Weekend SON Estrella Galicia

Monkey Weekend SON Estrella Galicia El Puerto de Santa María 2026 has already taken place. Here you can check the dates, line-up and practical information for that edition.

Monkey Weekend SON Estrella Galicia 2026 will hold its ninth edition on 26 and 27 June in El Puerto de Santa María. Known as the “little Monkey”, it returns with a programme designed for discovering bands, getting around the city and keeping alive the restless spirit of the Monkey Week universe in a more summery, intimate format.

The event works especially well because it doesn't try to compete on size. Its value lies in its curation: emerging artists, cult projects, guitars, alternative pop and a scale that lets you listen without getting lost in logistics.

Why follow it

Monkey Weekend is one of those events where the line-up makes more sense as a whole than as a hierarchy. The appeal lies in stumbling across a band in the middle of the afternoon, arriving without too many expectations and leaving with a new name underlined for the rest of the year.
