Festivals in Jaén

May is the busiest month in Jaén. oleoSÓNICA Jaén Music Fest brings together rock, indie and pop at IFEJA (Ferias Jaén); Vive Linares Fest adds electronic music to that same mix in Linares, and Ciclos de Rock de Jaén focuses on rock.

Between June and July the map shifts towards folk and flamenco. Sentir Baeza Aove Fest programmes folk in Baeza, Puerta de Andalucía combines flamenco and pop in La Carolina and Etnosur Alcalá la Real blends flamenco, jazz and folk. Outside those two blocks are the funk of Imagina Funk, in Pozo Alcón, and the reggaeton and urban music of Festival La Mona Fest.
