Background to the 2026 edition

Some time after that cancellation, the musician himself also announced the death of his mother, Mary Morello, at the age of 102. This helps to better understand the human context behind one of the most talked-about absences from the 2026 line-up.

Tom Morello, initially announced for Saturday 27 June, ultimately did not perform at the festival. His withdrawal was announced before the event and changed the outlook for the second day, which went ahead without a direct replacement of the same media profile.

The festival was once again held at the Bilbao Arena, in Miribilla, with numbered seating in the stands and a compact two-day format. The 2026 edition will be remembered for a programme strongly focused on classic live performance, as well as for a painful cancellation that affected the line-up just days before the doors opened.

The line-up, times and conditions mentioned in this section refer exclusively to 2026.
