Blackworks Festival Bilbao

Blackworks Festival Bilbao returns to the Bizkaia Arena at the BEC on Saturday 28 November 2026 for ten hours of hard techno, from 20:00 to 06:00 on Sunday. The Madrid-born brand is back at the Barakaldo venue just over a year after its edition on 4 October 2025.

A one-night rave at the Bizkaia Arena

Although the festival carries the name of Bilbao, the venue is in Barakaldo, at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (Ronda de Azkue, 1). There are no stages spread across a park and no multiple days: Blackworks works as a big club session moved into an arena, with the dance floor at its heart and a back-to-back programme running from opening to close.

According to the BEC's own event page, entry is not permitted to under-18s, there is a locker service with advance booking and the underground car park has 4,000 spaces. The venue asks people to buy only through official channels and not to post photos of their ticket with the barcode visible on social media.

The line-up: hard techno and back-to-back sets

The line-up announced for this edition brings together 6EJOU live, Aiden, Dexphase, Dual Damage and Obscure Shape, with several of them playing shared sets (B2B). Some listings add Vendrue, Skryption, Ramage, Titi or Toxic Machinery, while others mention In Verruf; the exact pairings vary from source to source and set times for each artist have not yet been published.

The direction is consistent with the brand's track record: fast, hard-hitting techno closely tied to today's European rave scene. Obscure Shape is one of the best-known German names in the genre, and Dexphase is a regular for the brand, having already played Blackworks in Madrid in 2023.

Tickets for Blackworks Bilbao 2026

Official sales are handled through the festival page on blackworks.es, which sells tickets via Fourvenues. Tickets are issued in the holder's name: they can be transferred with a name change on Fourvenues or resold on TicketSwap, but they are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for another event.

For those coming from outside Bizkaia, the company TravelFun offers return coaches from cities such as Santander, Vitoria, Donostia, Pamplona, Logroño, Burgos and Zaragoza, heading back half an hour after closing. It recommends booking at least seven days in advance, as routes that do not reach a minimum number of seats are cancelled.

From Madrid to the Basque Country: how Blackworks came to the BEC

Blackworks was born in Madrid and made its first move north on 29 April 2023, when the Bizkaia-based promoter Nervión Flyn brought it to the BEC with the aim, as Deia reported, of putting on "the biggest rave" in the Basque Country: a capacity of more than 8,000 people, around eight hours of music and general admission tickets at €40. The format has been repeated since then and has grown into ten-hour nights, like the one in October 2025.

The brand has also expanded in other directions: the Blackworks Weekend Festival in Madrid has announced its Dimension edition for 2 and 3 April 2027, and this summer it put together an open-air format at the port of Sagunto, as we covered in our guide to Blackworks Open Air.
