In short
- Saturday 7 is the busiest day of the month: Mira in Barcelona, Lion Rock Fest in León, Electrolatino in Salamanca and Caribe Mix at Las Ventas all fall on the same day, and Jazz Palencia opens its series of major concerts.
- For discovering bands, the events to go to are Fira Trovam and Monkey Week: most of the concerts in Castelló, from 12 to 14, do not require a ticket, and El Puerto de Santa María brings together 67 artists from 19 to 21.
- November is the month of jazz in theatres: Madrid, Palencia and Cartagena share tours, and Kurt Elling with The Yellowjackets plays all three festivals in six days.
- The last weekend calls for a look at the election calendar: Pista Extra and Blackworks fill Friday 27 and Saturday 28, and on Sunday 29, with the general election, Víctor Manuel plays the Movistar Arena at 19:00.
In November, festivals move indoors, and that changes how you choose. The festivals of November 2026 take place almost entirely in arenas, theatres, clubs and auditoriums, and many sell tickets concert by concert. In return, the month brings an electronic music and digital arts festival in Montjuïc, the return of Monkey Week to El Puerto de Santa María and a jazz route crossing Madrid, Palencia and Cartagena with the same names.
This guide selects the festivals with dates, venues and ticket sales confirmed as of 20 October, arranged by weekend. Two dates in the calendar affect plans: the general strike on Wednesday 11 and the general election on Sunday 29. The full list of festival pages, with filters by region and style, is in the November festival listings.
6 to 8 November: Mira, Lion Rock, Electrolatino and Caribe Mix
Mira (Barcelona, 6 and 7). The electronic music and digital arts festival returns to Fira Montjuïc for its fifteenth edition, with two nights of different character. Friday brings together Arca, Shygirl and Tortoise alongside Helena Hauff and Fennesz; Saturday revolves around Max Cooper, Machine Girl, Nicola Cruz and Martin Rev, of Suicide. Almost the entire line-up consists of live audiovisual shows. The day-by-day breakdown has been published, but set times have not. The festival pass costs €117 and a day ticket €63, plus fees, on the Mira website. We explain it in our guide to Mira's line-up by day and on the festival page.
Lion Rock Fest (León, Saturday 7). A single day of melodic hard rock at the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de León, with nine bands. Headlining is Michael Schenker Group with Robin McAuley, alongside Kee Marcello, former guitarist of Europe, and British band Dare. Girish and the Chronicles, replacing Art Nation, close the night. Be careful with the official website: it also sells Schenker's concerts in Barcelona (5 November) and Bilbao (8), which are separate dates. The festival has an agreement with Renfe for travel at a 10% discount. Around it there are three free events: on Friday 6, Leather Boys and Xtasy play from 21:00 at Espacio Vías, and Jason Cenador DJs from 23:30 at Studio 54; on Saturday 7, Starbeast plays at 13:30 at the sala Babylon. Lion Rock Fest tickets on Ticketmaster, the sales channel the festival refers to. ModoFestival may receive a commission if you buy through this link, at no extra cost to you. Line-up and how to get there on the Lion Rock Fest page.
Electrolatino Festival (Salamanca, Saturday 7). From 18:00 to 01:00 at the Enjoy Multiusos, with Nacho, Lérica and Danny Romero, Anthony & Yeigo and Mar Lucas. The brand is marketed as ‘by Juan Magán’, but he is not among the announced artists. The venue's page links to the official sale, and El Corte Inglés had tickets from €30.80 in September: Electrolatino Salamanca tickets at El Corte Inglés. Caribe Mix (Madrid, Saturday 7). The tour of the summer compilation albums closes 2026 at Live Las Ventas with Soraya, David Civera and King África. Doors open at 19:30 and the music runs from 20:30 to 1:30, just when the metro closes. In mid-October, general admission was on its third price tier, at €29, on the official Enterticket sale; it is also sold on Ticketmaster. ModoFestival may receive a commission if you buy through this link, at no extra cost to you. Line-up and price tiers in our Caribe Mix Madrid guide.
The same weekend, two longer festivals with cheap or free tickets continue. In Vallecas, Madrid Urban Fest features Ambkor on Friday 6 and Javs, Todo el Rato and Suzete on Saturday 7 at the Centro Cultural Pilar Miró, at €6 per concert (full programme). In Vitoria-Gasteiz, Aitzina Folk brings Hermanos Cubero on Friday 6 and Natxo de Felipe, founder of Oskorri, on Sunday 8 at the Palacio Europa (Aitzina Folk programme).
11 to 15: a strike on Wednesday and a weekend of venues in Palma and Vigo
On Wednesday 11 there is a 24-hour nationwide general strike, and each organiser decides whether to go ahead with their event. Madness Live has cancelled the Beast In Black and Sonata Arctica concert in Barcelona and Miranda! has brought its Madrid date forward to Monday 9, as we reported in our piece on the concerts affected by the strike. Among the festivals, JAZZMADRID is keeping Kurt Elling on its programme that day and Fira Trovam its Sanspok performance in Castelló. Anyone travelling that day should check the minimum transport services.
Es Gremi Sounds (Palma, 13 and 14). The Son Castelló music centre celebrates its anniversary with concerts in Sala 1 and Sala Zero from 18:00. Friday revolves around Alice Wonder; Saturday brings together the best-known names, Carlangas, Cupido and Charlie Cunningham, and the venue notes that more artists are still to be announced. On 18 October, the two-day pass cost €35 and a one-day ticket €25, plus fees, on the Es Gremi website. Line-up by day and prices in our Es Gremi Sounds guide.
Underfest Xacobeo (Vigo, 13 to 15). The pass costs €65 plus fees and guarantees access to the headliners; at the smaller venues, entry is until capacity is reached. For now, the only performance with a published date and venue is St. Paul & The Broken Bones, on Sunday 15 at the Teatro Afundación, with single tickets at €28. Before paying twice, it is worth reading what the Underfest pass includes.
That same weekend, Madrid Urban Fest signs off with La Reina Mora on Friday 13 and Hanimami and Ms Nina on Saturday 14, and Aitzina Folk brings Fillas de Cassandra to the sala Jimmy Jazz in Vitoria on Saturday 14.
Fira Trovam and Monkey Week: two showcase fairs for discovering bands
Both work the same way: short concerts, the showcases, in front of programmers, press and the public, plus a separate industry strand. For the public, they offer the chance to see lots of bands in a few days; Nathy Peluso, Hinds and Carolina Durante have all played Monkey Week showcases, according to the festival itself.
Fira Trovam (Castelló de la Plana, 12 to 14). The Valencian music fair holds its fourteenth edition at the Auditori de Castelló and other venues around the city. Most of the showcases do not require a ticket: 35 performances in the official schedule have no ticket sales. Ten concerts are paid for separately, such as Toundra, Repion, Rebrote and Brighton 64, with prices from €10 plus fees at the venue. Professional accreditation, for the panels and booking meetings, costs €70. Day-by-day schedule in our guide to Fira Trovam's free and paid concerts and on the fair's page.
Monkey Week (El Puerto de Santa María, 19 to 21). The festival is once again held in the city where it was born, with 67 artists published on its website. They include Nacho Vegas, Fillas de Cassandra, María Terremoto, Mujeres, Mala Gestión, Parquesvr and Blaya, alongside international acts such as Fulu Miziki, from the Congo, and Steve Wynn & Chris Cacavas. The organisers spread the stages across city venues such as the Monasterio de la Victoria, the Castillo de San Marcos and the Teatro Pedro Muñoz Seca. They have not yet published the day-by-day breakdown or the schedule. Tickets are sold on DICE via the Monkey Week website. The full line-up and venues are on the Monkey Week page, and we covered the first announcement in our Monkey Week 2026 news story.
Several names appear at both fairs. Amor Líquido and CERVATANA play in Castelló and in El Puerto, and Fillas de Cassandra play twice in November, at Aitzina Folk and Monkey Week. Anyone who cannot make it to El Puerto can see Amor Líquido a week earlier in Castelló, at one of the showcases that require no ticket.
Jazz fills November: Madrid, Palencia, Cartagena and Granada
Four jazz festivals coincide in November and share more than dates: the same musicians string together several of these cities in a few days, so you can often choose whichever theatre is closest.
- Kurt Elling & The Yellowjackets, with their tribute to Weather Report: Cartagena on Sunday 8, Madrid on Wednesday 11 and Palencia on Friday 13.
- Kenny Barron, with ‘Songbook’: Cartagena on Saturday 7 and Madrid on Tuesday 10.
- Kyle Eastwood, with the music from his father's films: Granada on Sunday 1 and Madrid on Sunday 15.
- Rita Payés and Lucía Fumero: Cartagena on Saturday 14 and Madrid on Saturday 28.

JAZZMADRID is the longest: it runs until Monday 30, with most of the weight at the Teatro Fernán Gómez. As well as the names above, it features David Murray on the 13th, Paquito D'Rivera on the 22nd and Cécile McLorin Salvant with Sullivan Fortner on the 24th, and closes with Saint Levant at La Riviera. Each concert has its own ticket sale (JAZZMADRID 2026 guide).
Jazz Palencia opens its series of major concerts on Saturday 7 with Antonio Serrano and Kaele Jiménez at the Teatro Principal. It then takes over the Teatro Ortega for two weekends: Kurt Elling on the 13th, Michel Camilo Trío on the 14th, Billy Cobham on the 20th and Cucurucho Valdés with Javier Colina on the 21st. Single tickets cost between €25 and €30 (Jazz Palencia page).
The Cartagena Jazz Festival saves its big names for the weekends at the Auditorio El Batel, with tickets from €25 to €35. After Kenny Barron and Kurt Elling, it closes on Sunday 15 with Samara Joy. At the Luzzy, Nacho Vegas plays on Thursday 12 (Cartagena Jazz programme). In Granada, the jazz festival signs off on Saturday 7 at the Teatro Isabel la Católica, with Jumaane Smith (Granada Jazz Festival line-up).
27 to 29: Pista Extra, Blackworks at the BEC and an election Sunday
Pista Extra da Veiga (Vegadeo, 27 and 28). The festival born in Lugo moves to a new home at the Vegadeo fairground, on the other side of the Eo, and expands to two days. Friday is rap, with Hard GZ; Saturday is rock and metal, with Soziedad Alkoholika, Narco, Jarfaiter, Crisix, La Morgue, Manolo Kabezabolo and Bestas. The official shop is already selling a two-day pass on offer at €60; separately, Friday costs €35 and Saturday €39, plus a 5% handling fee per order. Line-up by day in our Pista Extra news story.
Blackworks Festival Bilbao (Barakaldo, Saturday 28). Ten hours of hard techno at the Bizkaia Arena at the BEC, from 20:00 to 06:00 on Sunday, for over-18s only. The line-up includes 6EJOU, Aiden, Dexphase, Dual Damage and Obscure Shape, with no set times per artist. Tickets are in the holder's name and non-refundable, so it is best to buy them in the name of whoever is going. Ticket sales and coaches from other cities on the Blackworks Bilbao page.
That weekend Aitzina Folk also comes to a close, with Luar Na Lubre celebrating their 40th anniversary on Saturday 28 and Alos Quartet on Sunday 29, a concert already listed as sold out.
On Sunday 29 the general election takes place, and polling stations close at 20:00. As part of Inverfest, Víctor Manuel presents his new album at the Movistar Arena, with doors at 17:30 and the concert at 19:00: ticket holders should vote in the morning. The official sale is on the Inverfest website, and Tomaticket had tickets from €53 in October: Víctor Manuel tickets on Tomaticket. ModoFestival may receive a commission if you buy through this link, at no extra cost to you. If your plans mean travelling, postal votes can be requested until 19 November; the rest of that day's events are in our guide to festivals and concerts on 29N.
What this selection leaves out
This guide leaves out concert series that stretch across the whole autumn, such as Guitar BCN or the Cruïlla season in Barcelona, because people choose them concert by concert rather than as a festival. It also leaves out events for which only the date is known. All festival pages with dates in November are in the November festival listings, which are updated as editions are confirmed.
Nor does it include Santaspascuas, which last year began on 7 November: this time it is only holding its launch party in Pamplona on 30 October and is keeping its concerts for Christmas, as set out in our Santaspascuas guide. And Purple Weekend comes to León from 4 to 7 December.
