About the festival
Sonido Bomba makes its debut on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 November 2026 at Sala But in Madrid, with a closing party on the Friday night at Café La Palma. It is organised by two independent labels, Madrid's Sonido Muchacho and Rome's Bomba Dischi, and the eleven artists announced all come from their rosters. Seven are Italian and four are Spanish. A pass for both nights costs €44 and a single-day ticket €27.50, fees included.
A showcase for Sonido Muchacho and Bomba Dischi
The official subtitle makes it clear: «Las Noches de Bomba Dischi y Sonido Muchacho». Bomba Dischi was founded in Rome in 2012 and works as a label, publisher, booking agency and management company; Sonido Muchacho started in Madrid in 2014. From the Spanish side come Los Punsetes, Carmen Lancho, Jimena Amarillo and Cariño; the rest of the line-up is Italian. The project is supported by Italy's Ministry of Culture and by SIAE, the Italian authors' society, through the Per Chi Crea programme.
The format has a clear advantage for Madrid audiences: it brings together, in the same venue, artists with gold records in Italy and well-known names from Spanish independent pop. And it has an equally clear limitation, because the programme is drawn from two rosters rather than from a wider search. This is the first edition, and the two main nights are concentrated in a single venue in central Madrid.

Thursday is the night most evenly balanced between the two countries. Ariete is one of the voices of recent Italian pop, with gold and platinum records for songs such as Tatuaggi and Pillole, and has released the albums Specchio and La notte. Alongside her, Jimena Amarillo brings ANGÉLIKA (2025), and Carmen Lancho the songs from her debut EP, Dramitas; Lancho is also on the bill at Monkey Week a week earlier. Piccolo, from Empoli, is part of the bnkr44 collective and released Amaranto on Bomba Dischi.
Friday leans more towards Italy. Franco126 made his name with Polaroid (2017), the album recorded as a duo with Carl Brave, and in 2025 released Futuri Possibili, certified gold according to the festival. Drast formed Psicologi with Lil Kvneki, went solo in 2022 and released his first album, Indaco, in 2023. Faccianuvola has been mixing pop and electronica since he started uploading songs to SoundCloud during lockdown. Los Punsetes, a Madrid five-piece who debuted in 2008 and made their name with ironic lyrics such as those of Tus amigos and Tu puto grupo, are the most recognisable draw for anyone who doesn't follow the Italian scene.
The Café La Palma party changes register. Pop X is the audiovisual project of Walter Biondani and Davide Panizza; Fenoaltea is an electronic project founded in Palermo in 2017 that also produces for bnkr44, Piccolo's collective; and Cariño, now a duo of Alicia Ros and Paola Rivero, will DJ while presenting Odio la música, a preview of their next album.
Times: 19:00 at Sala But and almost midnight at La Palma
Ochoymedio's ticket pages give 19:00 for both nights at Sala But, without specifying whether that is when doors open or when the first concert starts. The running order and each artist's set time have not been published. The closing party starts at 23:59 on Friday 27, so anyone wanting to go to both events will need to make their way from Sala But to Café La Palma.
Tickets: €44 pass, closing party sold separately
Tickets for the two nights at Sala But are sold on the Ochoymedio website, with booking fees included:
- Two-day pass (26 and 27 November): €44.
- Thursday 26 ticket: €27.50.
- Friday 27 ticket: €27.50.
Two single tickets add up to €55, so the pass saves €11 for anyone going to both nights. As of 23 October, all three ticket types were still on sale. The Café La Palma party is not included in the pass: it is sold on Notikumi and its €16 advance ticket is listed as sold out, with the page not stating whether there will be tickets on the door that night. The purchase links for each ticket type are gathered on the festival's tickets page.
Under Ochoymedio's policy on minors, under-16s may only enter accompanied by their father, mother or legal guardian, who also needs a ticket, and both must bring an original identity document. Those aged 16 to 18 may enter on their own.
