In short

  1. Viva Suecia are the thirteenth name for WARM UP 2027: the Murcia band join the twelve artists the festival announced on 6 October, headed by The Kooks and Iván Ferreiro, for 30 April and 1 May at La Fica.
  2. The news comes days after the biggest concert of their career: more than 20,000 people at Espacio Norte on 17 October, a night that also featured Hoonine and Rata, two names already on the La Fica line-up.
  3. The general pass rises to €69.99: the €66.99 tier is listed as sold out and, with booking fees, the pass now costs €76.99; day tickets still have no on-sale date.
  4. Murcia will be their first 2027 festival among those announced so far: Linares, Sevilla, Albacete and Granada follow, so anyone choosing a festival for Viva Suecia has several options.

Five days ago, Viva Suecia drew more than 20,000 people to Espacio Norte in Murcia. Now they have a date to play their home city again: WARM UP Estrella de Levante announced on Wednesday that they have joined the edition on 30 April and 1 May 2027 at La Fica, and the general pass has already gone up to €69.99.

Viva Suecia, the thirteenth name for WARM UP 2027

The festival announced it on 21 October on its website and social media, and Cadena SER in Murcia reported it that same afternoon. Viva Suecia are, for now, the only addition since the first announcement on 6 October, when WARM UP presented The Kooks, returning after pulling out in 2026, alongside Iván Ferreiro, Barry B and Sexy Zebras, as we reported in the first WARM UP 2027 line-up.

The official list now stands at thirteen names: Viva Suecia, The Kooks, Barry B, Iván Ferreiro, Sexy Zebras, Elyella, Opus Kink, Parquesvr, Rata, Gara Durán, Ángeles Toledano, Hoonine and Gazzi. There is no day-by-day breakdown or stage times yet, and the organisers say they will announce more names in the coming weeks.

The Kooks and Iván Ferreiro were the headliners of the first announcement; now there is a third, and it is a home-grown one. The official website already puts Viva Suecia at the top of the list. The band's four members, Rafa Val, Alberto Cantúa, Jess Fabric and Fernando Campillo, arrive with Hecho en tiempos de paz, their fifth studio album, featuring Dolor y gloria and Deja encendida una luz.

From Espacio Norte to La Fica: the night of 17 October

On Saturday 17 October, Viva Suecia played Espacio Norte in front of more than 20,000 people, with tickets sold out, at the show the band themselves called «The concert of our lives». They had announced it a year earlier, during the opening speech of the Feria de Murcia. Onda Regional reported that the band brought the start forward by half an hour because of the rain forecast and that the music began shortly before nine in the evening; in the end, according to Murcia Actualidad, the rain did not appear during the concert.

That night already offered a preview of part of WARM UP. Hoonine opened the concert and Rata came on as a guest, as did Arde Bogotá and Second. Hoonine and Rata, both from Murcia, were already on the La Fica line-up before Viva Suecia were announced: three names from that night will share a bill again at WARM UP, although the festival has not yet said whether they will play on the same day.

Nor is it their first time at the festival. Viva Suecia were on the 2023 line-up but never got to play: rain forced one of the days to be cancelled, as reported by La Ganzúa. WARM UP announced them as the first name for 2024 to settle that unfinished business, coinciding with their ten years as a band.

WARM UP 2027 passes: €69.99 after the previous tier sold out

Tickets are sold on the official WARM UP 2027 page on Enterticket, which the festival website links to. On 22 October, this is what it showed:

  • General pass, €69.99, plus a 10 % booking fee: €76.99 for both days, with exit and re-entry. The website advertises 2,000 passes at that price.
  • VIP pass, €139.99, plus €8 in fees, with a VIP area and a raised double-height platform.
  • Passes for minors: €69.99 for ages 12 to 17 and €34.99 for ages 8 to 11, also plus fees.
  • Pass for people with reduced mobility, €39.99, and its VIP version, €89.99.

The previous tier, at €66.99, is listed as sold out. In early October, the website advertised a first allocation of 1,000 passes at €64.99, so the general pass has risen by five euros in two weeks, before the day-by-day breakdown has been revealed.

Day tickets are still listed as «coming soon» and, according to the organisers, will not allow exit and re-entry. Wristbands are sent to your home, and the festival does not admit children under 8: from that age they need their own ticket, a signed authorisation and an accompanying adult.

Viva Suecia in 2027: five festivals have already announced them

Murcia will be Viva Suecia's first festival stop among those known so far. After that come Vive Linares, on 7 and 8 May; Interestelar, in Sevilla, on 14 and 15 May; Antorchas, in Albacete, from 17 to 19 June, and Granada Sound, on 24 and 25 September.

The fact that the same band is heading five early announcements shows how much festivals want them for 2027, but it forces each one to stand out in other ways. There is some overlap at WARM UP: Iván Ferreiro is also playing Linares and Albacete, Sexy Zebras Linares and Elyella Sevilla. But The Kooks, Rata and Hoonine do not appear on any of the other four announcements. And there is another difference: it is the only one of the five in the band's home city, a week before Linares.

Anyone who does not want to wait until spring has two dates on the Hecho en tiempos de paz tour: 7 November at the Navarra Arena in Pamplona and 16 January 2027 at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, where they close the tour. Tickets are on sale on Fever (Pamplona and Barcelona); ModoFestival may receive a commission if you buy through this link, at no extra cost to you.

Updates on the line-up, the venue and access will be added to the WARM UP page, and the region's other events are in our guide to festivals in the Region of Murcia. More about the band on the Viva Suecia page.
