About the festival
Festival Iboga Madrid was the promoter Iboga's venture into a one-day festival in the capital, with a line-up of Balkan music, reggae, ska and electronic music. Announced for February 2025 at IFEMA, it was postponed to May at Autocine Madrid and there is no confirmation that it ever went ahead. As of 14 October 2026, no edition of the festival has been announced for 2026 or 2027.
A promoter of club nights and concerts
Iboga is a brand known mainly for its club nights in Madrid and Valencia. Its calendar combines drum and bass parties, such as Twist, psytrance and hardtek sessions under the name Iboga Rave, and concerts by fusion and Balkan music bands. La Riviera in Madrid and Sala Madison in Valencia are two of its regular venues.
The Madrid festival aimed to bring these strands together in a single large-scale day, with a line-up ranging from Balkan folk to reggae and electronic music.
The last announced edition: 2025, postponed and unconfirmed
The original date was Saturday 15 February 2025 in Pavilion 8 at IFEMA. The festival was postponed and moved to Saturday 10 May 2025 at Autocine Madrid, with doors opening at midday and tickets from around €36. The line-up preview published at the time included:
- Goran Bregović, the Bosnian composer of Kusturica's film soundtracks, as headliner.
- Vandal, La P'tite Fumée, Mo'Kalamity and Canteca de Macao.
- Quantic, performing a DJ set.
Concert listings disagree about what happened next. One platform marks the 10 May date as cancelled, while others keep it in their archives with a different line-up. The promoter's website does not clarify matters either: the festival is not listed among its past events, so it cannot be considered to have taken place.
What is known about the festival today
The brand remains active, but in a club format. In 2026 it has scheduled an Iboga Rave with Mandragora and Amygdala at La Riviera on 10 October and a party celebrating the 30th anniversary of Hospitality, a leading name in British drum and bass. None of these events is the festival, and its website does not announce a new edition for 2026 or 2027.
