Madrid Society Festival

Madrid Society Festival launched in 2025 as a long festival, spread over two weekends at the Hipódromo de la Zarzuela, mixing international DJs, urban artists, food and a family area. That first edition is the only one on record: there was no edition in 2026 and none has been announced for 2027.

A festival over two weekends

The concept broke away from the usual format of Madrid festivals. Instead of packing the line-up into three days, it split it into two blocks:

• From 29 May to 1 June, commercial international electronic music, with names such as Bob Sinclar, Lost Frequencies, Jonas Blue and Fedde Le Grand.
• From 5 to 8 June, urban, pop-rock and Latin music, with Don Patricio and Bombai among the names announced.

The split reflected two different audiences: those who came for the radio-friendly house of Bob Sinclar or Lost Frequencies were not necessarily the same people looking for Don Patricio. The price of that ambition was having to fill eight days in its debut year.

The only known edition: 2025

As well as the main stage, the Grand Stage, the site included a craft and design market (Boho Market), a food area (Gastro Hub) and a family zone with theatre and magic (Playground), according to the preview published by Time Out Madrid, which partnered with the festival. Tickets were sold through the official website.

The Hipódromo de la Zarzuela sits next to the A-6 in north-west Madrid, and combines horse racing with concerts and outdoor events for much of the year.

What is known about the festival today

The official website still only shows Madrid Society Festival 2025. The ticketing platforms that sold that edition have no upcoming events, and the organisers have published neither an announcement of a new edition nor an explanation for its absence in 2026. On that basis, as of 14 October 2026 the festival has no dates or line-up in sight.
