Rita’s Indie Fest

Rita’s Indie Fest was a day of Spanish indie and pop organised by Rita's, the Madrid brunch and daytime party brand. Only one edition is on record, in May 2025, and no edition has been announced for 2026 or 2027.

The only edition took place on Friday 23 May 2025 at The Lenovo GARAGE, the Autocine Madrid venue in the Fuencarral-El Pardo district. Doors opened at 14:30 and it ran until midnight.

The line-up combined live sets from Niña Polaca, Travis Birds, Melifluo and Sobrezero with DJ sets by Juancasupersub and Javi Sánchez.

The format also departed from the typical festival: there was a children's area, live cooking and food trucks, and anyone entering between 15:00 and 16:30 got an open bar of beer, tinto de verano and soft drinks, as well as paella, included in the general admission ticket. According to Time Out Madrid, the second batch of tickets cost €30 and children under four got in free.

What we know today about Rita’s Indie Fest

Rita's autumn 2026 programme has focused on other formats at the same Autocine Madrid complex: Arepa Fest on 24 October, Tacos Fest and the Day of the Dead on 1 November, and El Barrio by Omar Montes on 20 November. None of these events is a continuation of the Indie Fest, and the brand's website lists no dates, line-up or tickets for a second edition.
