Kula Shaker return to Spain in April 2027 with ‘K-Reinkarnate’: Valencia, Santiago, Madrid, Barcelona Psych Fest and Gijón Sound

Kula Shaker return to Spain in April 2027 with five dates over a little more than a week: three club shows, in Valencia, Santiago de Compostela and Madrid, and two festivals, Barcelona Psych Fest and Gijón Sound. Crispian Mills’ British band are presenting ‘K-Reinkarnate’, a re-recording of the album they debuted with thirty years ago.

Kula Shaker dates in Spain in 2027

• Thursday 8 to Saturday 10 April, Barcelona: Barcelona Psych Fest, at Paral·lel 62. The day of their show is yet to be announced.
• Friday 9 April, Valencia: Sala Moon, at 20:30.
• Monday 12 April, Santiago de Compostela: Sala Capitol.
• Friday 16 April, Madrid: Sala Wagon, at 20:30.
• Saturday 17 April, Gijón: Gijón Sound Festival, in the marquee on the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

The dates have been published by Rock and Roll Army and La Ganzúa, and the Valencia and Madrid shows are already listed on Ticketmaster with their start times. Some sources refer to “Sala Lab / Wagon” for Madrid; the ticketing platform lists it as Sala Wagon.

Tickets for Kula Shaker in Valencia, Madrid and Santiago

For the Valencia and Madrid shows there is a presale this Thursday 5 November at 11:00, open only to those who have registered in advance, and general sale opens on Friday 6 at 11:00, according to Rock and Roll Army. Both dates are on Ticketmaster (Valencia) and Ticketmaster (Madrid). ModoFestival may receive a commission if you buy through these links, at no extra cost to you.

Prices were not yet shown in the ticketing platform’s listings on Thursday morning. For the Santiago show we have found neither a ticketing platform nor a price: neither Sala Capitol nor the tour sources give details for now.

Kula Shaker at Barcelona Psych Fest and Gijón Sound

The other two dates are part of festivals, which changes the conditions for getting in. At Barcelona Psych Fest 2027, which turns ten, Kula Shaker share the bill with GOAT and The KVB, and for the moment only passes are on sale: there will be no individual tickets until the festival splits the shows by day.

At Gijón Sound 2027 the band play on Saturday 17 April with Ellis·D, and tickets for that day can be bought separately. When we reported it, on 4 November, the festival was selling the day ticket for €25 and the pass for €40, as part of its launch offer.

‘K’, thirty years on

‘K’ came out in 1996, reached number 1 in the UK and put songs such as ‘Govinda’, sung in Sanskrit, ‘Tattva’ and ‘Hey Dude’ on the radio. For its anniversary, the original line-up has re-recorded the album live and on analogue tape. It is called ‘K-Reinkarnate’, it will be released by Strange F.O.L.K. Records on 5 February 2027 and a new version of ‘Govinda’ has already been released as a preview. Before reaching Spain, the tour visits the UK and other European countries in February and March.
