In short

  1. Iván Ferreiro returns to Rabasa three years on: he already played Spring in 2024 and now arrives with ‘Hoy x Ayer’, the tour in which he looks back over 35 years of songs, from Los Piratas to his solo career.
  2. The first two names are also appearing at other festivals: between them, La Oreja de Van Gogh and Ferreiro are already on line-ups in Sevilla, Murcia, Benicàssim and Albacete, so whatever defines Spring will have to come in the next rounds of announcements.
  3. The General pass costs €55.99 plus €5.60 in fees, €4 more than the starting price of the June presale, and the Premium pass costs €119.99 plus €8 in fees.
  4. If you only want to see one of the two, you can't choose a day yet: there is no day-by-day line-up and Friday or Saturday tickets are listed as ‘coming soon’.

Spring Festival already has two names for its 2027 edition, and both have a long history behind them. The return of La Oreja de Van Gogh with Amaia Montero, announced at the end of September, has been joined since this Tuesday by Iván Ferreiro, who is celebrating 35 years in music. The festival will return to the Rabasa site in Alicante on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 May 2027, and passes are already on sale.

Iván Ferreiro returns to Spring Festival three years on

The festival's official website presents him alongside La Oreja de Van Gogh under the heading ‘We have our first names for 2027’. It is not Ferreiro's debut at the festival: he played Spring 2024 on Friday 31 May, on a day he shared with Vetusta Morla, Mando Diao and Dorian.

This time he arrives in the middle of a celebration. ‘Hoy x Ayer’, the tour in which he looks back over 35 years of his career, began in May 2026 in Bilbao, visited Spain's main cities and crossed over to Mexico in September, according to Alicante Plaza and Quefas. It comes with a vinyl EP of new recordings of songs by Los Piratas, the band he fronted for thirteen years, made with his current band, which includes his brother Amaro. If he keeps the tour format at Spring, the Rabasa show should mix ‘Años 80’ and ‘Promesas que no valen nada’ with the solo repertoire he began in 2005 with Canciones para el tiempo y la distancia.

It is not all about the past: Trinchera Pop (2023) won him his first Premios de la Academia de la Música in 2024, including best pop-rock album. The Iván Ferreiro page on ModoFestival lists the rest of his 2027 dates.

La Oreja de Van Gogh and Ferreiro: a start with plenty of pull but little exclusivity

The first confirmation was La Oreja de Van Gogh, once again with Amaia Montero on vocals, as we reported when the first big name for Spring Festival Alicante 2027 was revealed. With Ferreiro, the festival opens its line-up with two acts that look back: a band reunited with its original singer and an anniversary tour revisiting the songs of Los Piratas.

They have pull, but they are not exclusive. Ferreiro has already been announced for SanSan Festival, in Benicàssim, from 25 to 27 March; WARM UP, in Murcia, on 30 April and 1 May; Vive Linares, on 7 and 8 May; and Antorchas, in Albacete, in June. La Oreja de Van Gogh, meanwhile, are on the bill at Interestelar Sevilla, Stone & Music in Mérida and Caudal Fest in Lugo.

For audiences in Alicante, the repetition matters less: it is a chance to see both without leaving the city. But Spring drew more than 47,000 people in 2026, according to Alicante Plaza, with a line-up that spread Carolina Durante, Siloé, Love of Lesbian and La M.O.D.A. across its two days. With only two names known, it is not yet possible to tell whether 2027 will keep that balance between veteran bands and the newest generation of Spanish indie. For now, the festival has only said that more confirmations will follow in the coming weeks.

Spring Festival 2027 passes: General and Premium prices

Sales are handled through the official Spring Festival passes page, which redirects to the ticketing platform Enterticket. These were the prices on 21 October, with booking fees on top:

  • General pass, €55.99 plus €5.60 in fees (€61.59 in total): access to both stages on 28 and 29 May, with free entry and exit from the site. It costs the same for adults, for under-18s aged 13 to 17 and in the option for people with reduced mobility.
  • Premium pass, €119.99 plus €8 in fees (€127.99 in total): adds a reduced-capacity area with side stands, a green area, exclusive toilets, premium drinks, a gourmet food stall and a preferential view of the main stage.
  • Children's passes, ages 8 to 12: €34.99 for General and €59.99 for Premium, plus fees.

The wristband is posted to your home and delivery is included in the price. The General pass has already gone up since June: the presale reserved for those who attended the 2026 edition started at €51.99, as Alicante Plaza reported at the time. Day tickets, valid for Friday or Saturday and with no re-entry if you leave the site, are not yet on sale.

What we still need to know before buying

Seven months before the festival, the pass buys two days at Rabasa with two artists announced and no indication of which day each one plays. For anyone going specifically for La Oreja de Van Gogh or Ferreiro, it makes sense to wait for the day-by-day line-up and day tickets; for those who come back every year for the atmosphere, the rise since the presale suggests that waiting will not make the pass any cheaper.

If you are going with under-18s, check the conditions: children under 8 are not admitted; those aged 8 to 12 must be accompanied by their father, mother or legal guardian, with signed authorisation, and leave before 00:00; those aged 13 to 15 must be accompanied by their father, mother or an authorised adult, also with signed authorisation; and at 16 and 17 the authorisation alone is enough. Line-up news will be added to the Spring Festival page, and the rest of the events in the province are in the guide to festivals in Alicante.
