- Tickets go on sale on Friday 23 October at 10:00, with no festival pass and, for now, no published price for this concert.

Jack Johnson has a date for his return to Barcelona. The Hawaiian singer will perform on Monday 12 July 2027 at the Poble Espanyol, as part of the second edition of BARTS, in his first concert in the city since 2014. He is the second name confirmed by the Montjuïc concert series, three days after Lynyrd Skynyrd, and tickets go on sale this Friday 23 October at 10:00.
Jack Johnson, on the only Spanish date of his European tour
The concert is part of SURFILMUSIC, the tour accompanying the documentary of the same name about his life and career. The schedule on his official website has the European leg starting on 23 June in Munich and taking him through Berlin, Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris, Cornwall and the O2 in London before reaching Barcelona. Three days later, on 15 July, he plays the Ageas Cooljazz festival in Cascais, near Lisbon. There is no other date in Spain.
At many of those shows he is joined by Donavon Frankenreiter and G. Love, with Ben Harper also appearing in London. No guests have been announced for Barcelona: BARTS only states that the concert will start at 21:30.
Johnson broke through to a mass audience in the early 2000s with unhurried acoustic songs such as ‘Flake’, ‘Taylor’ and ‘Better Together’, closely tied to his past as a surfer in Hawaii. The festival points out that he has released eight studio albums and sold more than 25 million copies, and that his foundations have raised more than $40 million for environmental and community causes.
Tickets for Jack Johnson in Barcelona: on sale Friday at 10:00
General sale begins on Friday 23 October at 10:00 via the concert page on the BARTS website, which links to Enterticket, the series' ticketing platform. As of 20 October, neither the festival nor the ticketing platform has published prices or ticket types for this date. The singer's website mentions presales in some countries from Monday 19, but for Spain it only lists Friday's general sale, the same one announced by BARTS.
The only price reference for this edition is Lynyrd Skynyrd's: €88.10 for general standing and €108.10 for numbered seating, booking fees included. It gives an idea of what an international night at the venue costs, not an indication of Johnson's ticket price. As in 2026, each BARTS concert is bought separately: there is no festival pass.
BARTS 2027: Lynyrd Skynyrd and Jack Johnson, three days apart
Lynyrd Skynyrd were the first name announced for the second edition. They play on Friday 9 July, also at 21:30, and their tickets are already on sale. The current line-up is led by Johnny Van Zant, brother of the late Ronnie Van Zant, and guitarist Rickey Medlocke. Since the death of Gary Rossington in 2023 no founding member remains in the band, and the festival itself presents the concert with a tribute to Ronnie Van Zant and Rossington.

Southern rock on a Friday and acoustic folk the following Monday: it is the same mix BARTS launched with. Between 28 June and 25 July 2026, the Plaza Mayor of the Poble Espanyol hosted more than twenty concerts in a row, ranging from ZZ Top and Biffy Clyro to Belle & Sebastian, Rubén Blades and Morrissey, as we reported in the final stretch of that first edition.
The series has not yet published the rest of the line-up or the full 2027 schedule, beyond placing it in July. The venue, the format and a look back at the 2026 concerts can be found on the BARTS Festival page.
