Canela Party

Canela Party is preparing a particularly significant edition in Torremolinos: in 2027 it will celebrate its 20th anniversary. The festival returns on 26, 27 and 28 August 2027 with three days of guitars, experimental acts, Spanish and international artists and the fancy-dress party that is part of its identity.

The first announcement already reveals its editorial direction. Agriculture, DITZ, Maria Arnal, Nothing, Paco Te Quiero, Perfecto Miserable, Ratboys, Rodrigo Cuevas and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever open a line-up that will keep growing over the coming months.

Canela Party dates

Canela Party 2027 will take place from Thursday 26 to Saturday 28 August. The event keeps its recent location at the Recinto Ferial de Torremolinos, Málaga. The day-by-day breakdown, set times and final site map have yet to be published.

The edition coincides with the twentieth anniversary of a project born in 2007 and developed independently. Over the years it has grown from smaller venues to become a benchmark on the alternative circuit without losing the central role of its audience and the fancy dress.

First artists for Canela Party 2027

The first announcement brings together nine names. Agriculture and Nothing reinforce the more intense side; DITZ connects with post-punk; Ratboys and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever broaden the international presence from alternative rock.

The Spanish scene is represented by Maria Arnal, Paco Te Quiero, Perfecto Miserable and Rodrigo Cuevas. The announcement blends tradition, experimentation and guitars, a combination consistent with the festival's track record. This is only the first batch and not the full line-up.

Tickets for Canela Party 2027

The organisers released a first limited allocation at the beginning of September. At the moment we are not linking to direct sales until we can re-verify a specific, current URL for the 2027 edition. Prices, fees and availability should always be checked on the festival's official website and social media profiles.

The old 2026 ticket link should not be used: it belongs to an edition that has already taken place and could lead to outdated information.

How Canela Party 2026 went

The previous edition brought together around 16,500 people over three days in Torremolinos. Its line-up included Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Carolina Durante, Deafheaven, Melody’s Echo Chamber, Baiuca, Rufus T. Firefly, Mannequin Pussy, Nation of Language, Basement, High Vis and La Paloma, among many others.

Those figures help to understand the current size and variety of Canela Party, but the 2026 names are not automatically part of the next edition. For 2027, only the artists included in the official announcement should be considered confirmed.

Venue and tips for planning your trip

The Recinto Ferial de Torremolinos allows the stages and services to be concentrated in a single space. Those travelling from elsewhere can start comparing accommodation and transport, although it is advisable to choose flexible bookings until the set times, entry rules and final services are known.

Torremolinos's proximity to Málaga and its rail connection make getting there easier, but leaving a festival at night requires planning the last journey. It is also worth waiting for official information on minors, permitted items, lockers and accessible mobility.
