In short

  1. The SanSan 2027 line-up now features around fifty acts, from Lori Meyers and Iván Ferreiro to Zaharave, but the official website still does not say which day each one plays or at what time.
  2. The three-day general pass costs from €69 including fees, the children's pass €36 and the pass for Benicàssim residents or Villarreal members €58.99.
  3. Buying now makes sense if you are going to spend the whole weekend there; if you are going for just one band, it is worth waiting for the day-by-day line-up and considering a day ticket, which can later be upgraded to a pass.
  4. SanSan clashes with Mar de Jávea on 26 and 27 March, and Lori Meyers is on both line-ups: neither festival has yet said which day the band plays.

SanSan Festival is selling its 2027 edition with an already long line-up and one significant unknown. The Benicàssim festival will take place on 25, 26 and 27 March 2027, its official website already lists around fifty acts and the general pass costs from €69 including fees. What is missing is a day-by-day line-up, and two of those three days clash with Mar de Jávea, which has also announced Lori Meyers.

Around fifty acts, from veteran indie to the emerging scene

SanSan's artists page has 51 entries, plus one for poster artist Okuda San Miguel, who has designed this edition's artwork and is not performing. One of them, Groc Talent, is not a band but a competition: the website asks who will be ‘the winner’ of this edition. The rest are 50 acts, in two blocks.

The first is headed by veterans of Spanish indie and pop: Lori Meyers, Iván Ferreiro, Sidonie, La Pegatina, Triángulo de Amor Bizarro, Los Punsetes and Rufus T. Firefly. According to the festival's website, Lori Meyers arrive with a new album. Behind them comes a more recent generation, with Shinova, Alcalá Norte, Cala Vento, Niña Polaca, Sexy Zebras and Vera Fauna, and a long list of young bands or acts from the smaller circuit: Aiko El Grupo, Begut, Bestia Bebé, El Diablo de Shanghai, El Nido, El Zar, Fatal, La 126, Linze, Los Estanques, Mala Gestión, Merina Gris, Ona Mafalda, Oslo Ovnies, Paco Pecado, Parquesvr, Perfecto Miserable, Pipiolas, Rata, Shego, Sobrezero, Tenda, Toldos Verdes and Vangoura.

Two names break that pattern. Él Mató a un Policía Motorizado are the line-up's Argentinian contingent. And Zaharave is the new show from Zahara: the website presents it as a live electronic show that reworks the songs from her GLITCH era for the dance floor.

The second block, listed separately on the website, adds eleven more names: Alex Curreya, Andy Grey, Bita, Bite Me & CHVLO pres. RAVEPOP, Cate, Ella Pincha Sola, John Core B2B QSade, Kid Rizzo, Mr. Kitos, Popi&Sito and Toxicosmos. With days that, according to the organisers, run from roughly 18:00 to 05:00, formats such as a B2B or a ‘presents RAVEPOP’ point to late-night sets, although the festival has not given details. In September ModoFestival reported the first SanSan 2027 announcement, headed by Lori Meyers, Iván Ferreiro and Zaharave; since then the list has grown to around fifty.

General pass from €69: what it includes and what other options there are

The general pass gives access to all three days, is for over-16s and costs from €69 including fees, according to the official website. It is sold on Fever, the ticketing platform the festival links to, which breaks it down as €61.88 plus €7.12 in booking fees. ModoFestival may receive a commission if you buy through this link, at no extra cost to you.

The same sale includes three more passes with visible prices:

  • Kids Pass, €36 including fees: for ages 0 to 15, with a responsible adult and a signed authorisation. Children need a ticket whatever their age.
  • Resident Pass, €58.99: for people registered as residents in Benicàssim, with a DNI or a certificate of registration.
  • Groguet Pass, €58.99: for members and season-ticket holders of Villarreal C.F., with their membership card.

Both reduced passes are in the holder's name, cannot be transferred and are limited to a maximum of two per purchase, one for the holder and one for a companion, who must collect their wristbands together. The website also announces a Premium pass, with a priority lane and access to a raised platform with its own bars and toilets, a Kids Premium pass, the day ticket and the Sunset by SanSan option, but with no price on the festival's website for now. The festival accepts the Bono Cultural Joven for both passes and day tickets.

The organisers only take responsibility for tickets bought on their website or on Fever, and warn that they may refuse entry with tickets from other channels.

Buy now or wait for the day-by-day line-up?

It is a reasonable question: with 50 acts spread over three nights, anyone buying today does not know whether their band will play on Thursday, Friday or Saturday. The festival has no stage times either; its FAQs say it will announce them as the date approaches.

For those spending the whole weekend, that uncertainty matters little. The pass covers all three days, works out at €23 per day and is not in the holder's name, so it can be passed on without any formalities if plans change. The website mentions a price ‘from’ €69 without explaining whether there will be later price tiers, so waiting does not guarantee paying the same.

For those going for just one band, the sums are different. SanSan does not sell tickets for individual concerts, but it does sell day tickets, and the organisers allow a day ticket to be converted into a pass later by writing to hola@sansanfestival.com. Waiting for the day-by-day line-up and then buying the specific day is the most prudent option, especially if the band in question is Lori Meyers.

What the festival does not include in its FAQs is a cancellation or refund policy, a detail worth bearing in mind for an open-air festival at the end of March.

Easter with two festivals: the clash with Mar de Jávea

25 March 2027 is Maundy Thursday, so SanSan falls right in the middle of Easter Week. And it is not alone: Mar de Jávea takes place on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 March at Recinto La Fontana in Xàbia, according to its official website, which announces Lori Meyers, Los Secretos, Walls and Éxtasis. Lori Meyers also appear on SanSan's website, so the Granada band are on both line-ups on the same weekend.

Neither festival has yet said which day they play. It therefore cannot be stated that Lori Meyers will play both Castellón and Alicante, nor that seeing them at one rules out seeing them at the other: what can be verified is that two of SanSan's three nights coincide with Jávea's two. Details of the Xàbia festival, with a two-day general pass at €45 plus fees, are in Mar de Jávea 2027 confirms Lori Meyers, Los Secretos, Walls and Éxtasis.

Iván Ferreiro also starts his 2027 festival run at SanSan, as reported in the round-up of festivals for La Oreja de Van Gogh, Viva Suecia and Iván Ferreiro. And to compare the price with other events this year, there is passes for 20 festivals in 2027, from cheapest to most expensive; SanSan is not the only one selling before completing its information, as seen in the 2027 festivals selling blind.

Times, entry, parking and shuttle buses

Each day runs from roughly 18:00 to 05:00, and Fever puts the doors opening at 18:00. The site is on the N-340 road, kilometre 986.3, in Benicàssim. You can go in and out as many times as you need, with last entry one hour before closing. There is free parking on a first-come, first-served basis until spaces run out, although the organisers recommend public transport: Benicàssim has a railway station and the nearest AVE station is Castellón.

The Autos Mediterráneo shuttle buses will depart from Castellón, Benicàssim and Oropesa del Mar; the website says it will publish the routes, times and departure points later. For accommodation, the festival's website points to hotels, apartments and campsites in the area, with no festival campsite of its own announced. Children up to 15 must be accompanied by their father, mother, guardian or a designated person, and 16 and 17-year-olds can enter alone; in both cases with a signed authorisation. The rest of the practical information is in the SanSan Festival profile.
