In short
- José González plays on Saturday 31 at 20:00 to a seated audience, and what is left on sale is boxes and lower stalls, between €41.25 and €46.75 including fees.
- Chambao celebrate their 25th anniversary on Sunday 1 at 20:30 with standing tickets: general admission costs €35.75 including fees, and it is a night without seats, with the audience on their feet.
- Both concerts are at the Cartuja Center CITE and Monday 2 is a public holiday in Andalusia, so the Chambao show does not mean an early start the next day.
- Next up are Yerai Cortés, Delgao, SFDK and MEUTE, although the SFDK date is already listed as sold out on the festival website.
INSÓLITO fills the All Saints' Day long weekend in Sevilla with two back-to-back concerts. José González performs on Saturday 31 October and Chambao on Sunday 1 November, both at the Cartuja Center CITE, and with them the Green Cow Music festival opens its second season. They are two very different nights: one seated, with acoustic guitar, and the other standing, looking back over 25 years of songs.
José González on Saturday: a seated concert with only boxes and lower stalls left
The Swedish musician of Argentinian descent comes to Sevilla with Against The Dying Of The Light, his fifth solo studio album. According to Green Cow Music, it was released in March, features 13 songs and moves between English, Spanish and Swedish, with his familiar guitar and voice at the centre and some new arrangements around them. It is his first full-length album since Local Valley (2021), and the promoter is billing the Sevilla date as his only stop in Andalusia.
Anyone who discovered him through his cover of ‘Heartbeats’ by The Knife, included on Veneer (2003), knows what to expect: a live show at restrained volume, where the silence of the room matters. The venue's layout suits it. For this date the Cartuja Center operates with numbered seating: premium stalls, lower stalls, upper stalls, boxes and club.
The concert starts at 20:00 and the official ticketing site gives doors as 19:00. Prices range from €30 to €45 plus 10% in fees, €33 to €49.50 in total, but a large part of the capacity has already sold. On the morning of 26 October, the seating plan only showed free seats in the boxes (€41.25 including fees) and the lower stalls (€46.75), as well as spaces for people with reduced mobility. Premium stalls, upper stalls and club had no seats left.
The ticket sale warns that under-16s must be accompanied by their father, mother, guardian or an authorised adult, and that 16- and 17-year-olds also need the signed authorisation. There is no child rate.
Chambao on Sunday: 25 years of songs and standing tickets at €35.75
The following day, at 20:30, Chambao take over the same venue with a different approach. For their concert only general standing is on sale, at €32.50 plus €3.25 in fees, €35.75 in total. The ticket for people with reduced mobility, at €33, is already sold out.
The date is part of the 25 Aniversario tour by Chambao, the group led by María del Mar Rodríguez, La Mari. According to the promoter, it will run through the songs that made Chambao popular, with the blend of flamenco, electronica and Mediterranean feel with which the Málaga group made their name at the start of the century. The tour accompanies Chambao – 25 Aniversario, the album also released in March on which La Mari revisits 25 of the group's songs with 25 guest artists. Since their return in 2023 with En la cresta del ahora, the group have released several singles, among them ‘La Piel’, with SFDK, who also have a date this INSÓLITO season.

Two nights at the same venue, with Monday a public holiday in Andalusia
This year 1 November falls on a Sunday, and the Junta de Andalucía moved the All Saints' Day holiday to Monday 2 November. For those who live in the region, the Chambao concert falls on the eve of a public holiday, and the weekend makes it possible to take in both without changing location.
The Cartuja Center CITE is at Calle Leonardo da Vinci, 7, on the Isla de la Cartuja, according to the ticketing site. Tickets for both dates can be bought on the official INSÓLITO website, from each concert's page: José González and Chambao. When choosing, the difference lies in the format: for José González you buy a specific seat, and for Chambao you only buy access to the standing area.
What else INSÓLITO has this season
INSÓLITO began in September 2025 as a concert series spread across theatres, clubs and auditoriums in Sevilla over several months, as reported in the presentation of its first season. The second gets under way this weekend and continues as follows:
- Yerai Cortés, on Friday 5 February at 20:30, at the Cartuja Center, with POPULAR: flamenco guitar, six female voices, handclaps and body percussion, according to the festival website. Tickets from €41.25 to €66 including fees.
- Delgao, at two venues: on Friday 19 March at Sala Marte in Málaga and on Saturday 20 at Sala X in Sevilla, both at 21:30. Advance tickets €18.70 including fees.
- SFDK, on Saturday 10 April at 21:00, at the Cartuja Center. Although the press release lists all tickets as available, the concert page marks it as sold out.
- MEUTE, on Saturday 24 April at 21:00, at the Cartuja Center CITE. The Hamburg band who play techno with brass and percussion no longer have boxes or club on sale: what remains is the standing area, at €49.50 including fees. Details of that date are in our story on MEUTE in Sevilla.
