Viña Rock 2027 unveils 55 names for its 30th anniversary: Mägo de Oz, Sôber, Mala Rodríguez and Hard GZ

Viña Rock unveiled the first line-up announcement for 2027, its 30th anniversary edition, this Tuesday. Mägo de Oz, Sôber, Mala Rodríguez, Hard GZ, Dubioza Kolektiv and Rulo y la Contrabanda are among the 55 names published on the website of the Villarrobledo festival, two days before 30-euro passes go on sale.

First line-up announcement for Viña Rock 2027

The official website splits the names into two blocks. The first brings together rock, punk, metal and fusion:

Dubioza Kolektiv, Rulo y la Contrabanda, Mägo de Oz, Benito Kamelas (30 years), Reincidentes, Porretas, Poncho K, Sôber, Itaca Band, El Reno Renardo, Kaos Etílico, The Locos, Trashtucada, Tierra Santa (30 years), Me Fritos and the Gimme Cheetos, Lepoka, Catalina Grande Piñón Pequeño, Pedro Pastor, No Konforme, Leo Jiménez, Uña y Carne, Mala Reputación, Manny Calavera, Laura DSK, La Regadera, Xpresidentx, Bihotza, Diego Varea y la Mariachi Band, Razz, Ferrán Exceso, Mala Hierba, La Gore, Hermana Furia, Desastre, Trastienda RC, Barracüda, Arre-A.K., Wini de Spiz and Combos AMM.

The second is devoted to rap, reggae and urban sounds:

Hard GZ, Kaze, Morodo & Okoumé Lions, Mala Rodríguez, Faenna, Santa Salut, Blake, Selecta, Midas Alonso, Las Ninyas del Corro, The Whistlers, Jime, Yeico x Toni, Sombra Alor, Policarpo318 and Montseny.

In total, the festival is announcing more than 90 artists, more than five stages and more than 200 hours of music, so almost half the line-up is still to come. It has also opened a survey for the public to suggest bands, with a prize draw for two passes.

A line-up for the 30th anniversary

Viña Rock counts editions, not years: it was born in 1996, but the pandemic left two years without a festival, and 2027 will be its thirtieth edition. The announcement reflects this with two names who are also celebrating 30 years in music, Benito Kamelas and Tierra Santa, and with veteran Spanish rock bands such as Reincidentes, Porretas and Mägo de Oz.

Several of these names also feature on other spring line-ups: Me Fritos and the Gimme Cheetos, Mala Reputación, Laura DSK and Blake will also play Extremúsika, which takes place on the same days in Cáceres.

Viña Rock 2027 passes: 30 euros for 30 hours

General sale opens on Thursday 5 November at 12:00. For the first 30 hours, a pass costs 30 euros, including the three days of the festival, the welcome party and the rest area. The website does not yet say which ticketing platform will sell the passes or how much they will cost afterwards.

Registered residents of Villarrobledo who signed up before 29 October can buy on Wednesday 4 November, from 00:00 to 23:59, for 15 euros. Viña Rock 2027 dates

The festival will take place on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 April and Saturday 1 May 2027 in Villarrobledo (Albacete). The day-by-day line-up and set times have not yet been published.
