In short
- Jimena Amarillo opens at 17:00 and Alcalá Norte close from 20:45, with 1111, Sedientos de Cumbia and Hija del Nopal in between.
- The concert is free and open-air, on two stages on the paseo de Uribitarte, next to Bilbao City Hall.
- Alcalá Norte arrive in Bilbao on the eve of their second album and with the AUPA! award that BIME gave them this week.
BIME ends today out on the street. This Friday 30 October, the paseo de Uribitarte hosts the free concert that closes Bilbao's music conference, with Alcalá Norte headlining and five performances from 17:00. The preview Deia published on Thursday afternoon, with the official mourning for the Urda rail accident already in effect, keeps the event and its schedule in place.
Stage times for the BIME closing concert
This is the running order published by Deia:
- 17:00: Jimena Amarillo.
- 17:50: 1111.
- 18:45: Sedientos de Cumbia.
- Afterwards: Hija del Nopal (no specific time published).
- 20:45: Alcalá Norte.
It is a line-up that builds from quieter to louder. Jimena Amarillo opens by presenting her latest EP, with tracks such as ‘Aéreo’ and ‘He montado un circo’; Madrid trio 1111 bring the alternative pop; Sedientos de Cumbia bring the album they released this year, BIENDESED, and Mexican artist Hija del Nopal mixes salsa, boogaloo, mambo and cumbia in the spirit of the sonideros. The finale belongs to Alcalá Norte's post-punk.

Free, open-air and next to City Hall
No ticket is needed. Unlike the venue concerts on the previous days, for which BIME required a €1 registration, the closing event is a free, open-air festival, with two stages on the paseo de Uribitarte, next to Bilbao City Hall, and with the support of the City Council and OMODA, which gives its name to the stages.
To get there, the Bilbao tram has a stop at Uribitarte. As it is outdoors and runs into the night, it is worth checking the forecast before heading out.
Alcalá Norte, days away from their second album
The band from Ciudad Lineal arrive in an important week. BIME has given them one of its AUPA! awards, which have also recognised Luz Casal, Rozalén and María José Llergo, and the band are due to release Dejémoslo como estaba, their second album, early next week, with eleven songs, of which ‘El endemoniao’, ‘El hombre planeta’ and ‘Los llamados pitagóricos’ are already out.
Anyone left wanting more has the 2027 tour on which they will present that album in large venues, covered in Alcalá Norte add Valencia, Santiago and Barcelona to the Movistar Arena. The rest of this edition's programme is in BIME Live 2026: more than 65 concerts in Bilbao, and the other plans for the weekend are in the festival guide for the week.
