Festivals in Pontevedra

July and August account for much of the Pontevedra calendar. In Portas, PortAmérica combines indie and folk at the Azucarera de Portas; in Bueu, SonRías Baixas moves between rock and folk, and in Sanxenxo, Costa Feira focuses on indie and pop. Vilagarcía de Arousa adds Atlantic Fest in July.

Vigo runs on its own calendar: Galicia Fest in June, Marisquiño in August, with electronic music, pop and urban music, and Underfest Xacobeo in November. Outside the summer, May has a reggae flavour with Millo Verde, in Redondela, and Acapulpo Reggae Solidario, in Moaña.
