Festivals in October 2026

October keeps up a busy calendar, spread mainly across Andalusia, Madrid and the Canary Islands. In Madrid, RADAR, CaixaBank Madrid Live Experience and the start of Inverfest coincide; in Andalusia, the line-up is split between Sevilla, Córdoba and Granada, with events such as Slow Music, in Pozoblanco. The Canary Islands bring together Sum Festival, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and Starmus, between Arona and the Puerto de Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Pop, indie and rock are the most common styles of the month, with electronic and urban music taking a back seat.

Outside those three areas, October has events almost all over the map. Extremadura brings together Festival Contempopranea, in Don Benito, and Cáceres Underground Weekend, as well as CineBeat, in Mérida, which carries on from September. In Castellón, Capla Festival takes over the Recinto de Ferias y Mercados in Castelló de la Plana, and Onda holds Fira d’Onda.

In Zaragoza, Espacio Zity brings a mix of electronic, rock, indie, pop and urban music to the Recinto Ferial de Valdespartera; in Reus, PintorRock combines rock and punk, and in Palma, Festival Mutante sets up electronic music and indie at Motorworld Mallorca. The north adds the electronic music and techno of Blackworks Festival, in Bilbao, the urban music of Festival Focart, in Avilés, and the jazz of Jazz Palencia Festival.

October is also a closing month for festivals that run on from the summer, such as Ou Yeah! Festival, in Ourense, or 1001 Músicas, in Granada, and an opening month for those that stretch into the winter, such as Cruïlla de Tardor, in Barcelona, and Festival Santas Pascuas, in Pamplona.
